    Default 350z or sti

im looking into buying a newer car, one that doesnt have 160,000 miles on it. so far i have narrowed it down to a 2005-2006 350z manual tranny of course or a 2005ish sti. i love the sti, but i am concerned about reliability over time due to it being turboed. the only thing that i have noticed with the z is that the transmission can be a bitch. any recommendations would be great. thanks

350zs are for middle aged men going through a mid life crisis or for teenagers that have dumbass parents!

What?! you got to be joking. I see way more 350s on a daily basis than I do STIs. AT LEAST 10 350zs for every 1 STI I see.

STI no doubt about it. Hell, a regular WRX owns a 350z IMHO.

uhh...STi without a doubt. AWD....boost....4 doors(insurance purpose)...4 banger(gas saver)....and other stuff. Plus the fact that 350s are on the top 3 deadliest cars list which means ur insurance is gonna be high as hell

dude sti's are more exspensive to ensure than a 350z... gas is also worse in an sti... but both got good crash ratings

well sorry that i dont drive anything close to either one. i just went with the 4 door is cheaper than 2 door....4 banger less gas than 6 cylinder....and considering the 350 is one of the deadliest cars on the road thing....you're not really left with anything but for the 350 to cost more for insurance

as someone who owned one, the sti is expensive as fuck to insure but still fun as fuck to drive it. be prepared to get around 20 mpg if your lucky.

noone has said this but i will, and im not trying to be an ass, but do you think you can handle these cars? not saying anything mean but both cars listed are rather finicky to drive.

ive driven both a 350Z and STi before, if he gets the low base Z(no LSD) it'll be harder cause it'll quickly spin in a curve. if you like to drift you'll have fun. but the higher base Z's handle way better...
Will's STi isn't stock but from what i saw its a very nice handling car, well atleast better then mines. it took the turns alot better!!

i think he should go out and test drive both cars... /thread.
