Twin turbo mustang. Parts are so cheap and easy to get a hold of. 1000hp would be an afterthought.

What do you want to do with the car? Go fast apparently but in a straight line or what?

He has yet to name a car that can't handle Unless you're putting a Saleen S7 around that 1000hp mustang engine...i'd say no.

Considering that NASA has a racing series solely for mustangs and camaros I would say that they can be made to handle. I have owned 2 and I am a honda fan boy. You can buy full suspension kits that replace almost every component and completely changes the geometry. They can be made to handle despite the fact that they are heavy. No heavier than supras or 300s though.

That's what I find amusing, lil joe blow with a welder figured out how to make a car perform like a BILLION dollar company couldn't. I'm quite familiar with NASA's American Iron series too, and i watched Jason Priestley drive the GT cars back in the day when he first started (97/98) ;-) Technically anything with a wide enough tire is gonna handle, to a point anyways.

i think you should do a rb30 block with a rb26 head fully built with the biggest turbo that you can find. put that in a s13 240 with a s15 front. a friend of mine was going to do that but he backed out. it has only been done like twice in the world.

Baddest Z I have ever seen in person. Although with the swap of the above car it is quite the erection maker.

no headlight covers on a 240z? Along with shaving/modding the bumpers and lowering the car the covers are the best thing appearance wise you can do. Would help if there were actually headlights under them though

I dunno man, I've always disliked the headlight covers. Kind of like the sunblockers you see on the rear windows. Yuck. To each their own.

the covers were an option and many of the Factory Restored 240Z's from a few years ago got them.

Echonova if you knew how much power comes out of doing that swap then you wouldnt say anything. gay???? far from it. it would be the best built swap that you could do, that is if you can find the block. look into it and you will understand. have a nice day.

It's not the power, it's useable power and reliability....then the ease of getting parts when you need them.

You can get tons of power from any engine if it's built properly: 900 hp from a b-series honda 4 cylinder and you can get parts everywhere, you can get 1,000+ from a 2jz and you can get parts everywhere - but with an RB where do suppose you'll find even the simpliest part for it? If you've ever been around the VG30de/det's then you know what kind of pain they can be and they were even sold in the US for 6+ years so imagine how difficult an RB is. Parts don't break when you aren't using or don't need the car, first you'll have to find the part then wait 1 to 3 weeks for shipping...how do you suppose that works out when you break something at the track or an event? All the money spent for the weekend is wasted bc you can't continue to drive the car. Unless you have a surplus of parts and spares it's not exactly the wisest setup for this side of the pond.
