    Default Sputtering SR20

Hey guys, I've been having a sputtering problem with my 240SX. I have an S13 SR20. Its pretty much stock with FMIC, HKS BOV, HKS wastegate actuator, 255LPH fuel pump, Blitz reflashed ECU, and Apex'i SAFC-II. I'm also running at 15Lbs of boost. It use to start to sputter between 4500-5000 RPMs at full throttle, now its between 3000-3500, so its getting worse. In neutral, it'll only rev up to 5000 at full throttle. On the other hand on partial throttle....seems to be less than 20% throttle, it drives fine. I can drive all the way up to red line and rev it up in neutral. when it sputters the Boost varies between 10-13, I haven't seen it hit 15 during sputtering. I checked all the couplers and what not to see if its a boost leak, but everything looks tight. Timing is good and TPS seems good(only looking through the SAFC-II) anyone have any ideas?

when they go bad they tend to weaken, not just die all together. when mine went bad it was pretty random.

just find someone that has known good ones and swap them to see if it still sputters.

I haven't done that yet, but if it was bad wouldn't I not be able to drive past 3 grand at all?
