i was racing but i talked with nick for a while we were pitted close by each other. i think that was phil2.3evo8 but i'm not positive cause i never saw him personally and incontt was taking the video

old jerry's got some skills with that bada$$ vid cam of his doesnt he! i'm sure he appreciates the compliment

Nah it wasnt Phil's. Phil's has the jdm rear and the small lip spoiler on the trunk like Nick's. This one was silver as well but it had a wing on it, stock wheels, and an oem rear bumper. Just curious to see of the member is on this board because he ran a very good time too.

I talked to that guy a little bit, he was a good guy. He was trying to sort out his 35R set-up. I believe he lived near SDR.

i knew the only chance i had was to get out on him if i ran a good light

got the tree covered well but when i went sideways any slim chance i had went right out the door

did the math and if i would ran a bottom high 9 i still woulda gotten beat but we woulda crossed the line really close for the eye to make it look alot better for the vid and the crowd

line was hooking good!!! but the right lane after turbodave's celicasupra took a dump it doosed the track pretty good so the 300' mark oout was pretty bad and that's unfortunately where i start laying down my power so sideways i go

Once the lunchbox quits drifting for the first 60' she is gonna be nasty. I gotta start leaning on mine a little......Nevrnuftorq is goin up on the boost a bit and trying to overtake me. We should all be about the same times when fall is here and everyone is dialed in.

That would be great to get back out there with you all again. I'm still trying to get that 9 on street tires (BFG DR's 18's). I have about had it though and the slicks are going on. Street tire times will come later. It will be sweet to see you guys turn the wick up! Let me know if you guys plan to go out soon.

I think you are right! We just need to get back out there, or at least I do. The weather has been aweful down here for racing.
I have been in Pa a couple times this past month and their track weather has been AWESOME! I'm close to shipping the bee up there for a while. Not to mention some up coming surgery it will be undergoing.

Hey man AWD motorsports went 8.75 at 162 in their evo in over 100 degree weather! That was also on a 67mm turbo not a 42r. I'm sure with the slicks you could hit at least a 9.99. This is Josh btw

I hear you! Their car also weighs 400 lbs. less than mine and their tune is on kill. I'll get there, but the slicks are going on fo sho!

I believe Phil is in the process of selling the car. I'm sure he will be out with something different later. He didn't have much luck with his Evo and I don't blame he for wanting to scrap the platform and try something else.
