This was done with a STOCK 6spd, STOCK rear end, Supra.

That car FIRES out of the hole! And on a 6 speed! Gotta love the RWD and slicks on a nicely prepped track.

    Yeah, but RWD>AWD. Thats badass!

It's rare to see an AWD cut a 1.3 60' though. I've seen many RWD cut sub 1.4's though.

This is true, but doing it with a factory 6spd is pure insanity! I've seen guys do it with turbo 400's. Dan was cutting low 1.4's all day long with his, but a 6spd is another story all together. I was like "WTF?" when I saw it, lol.

Wow...what do you think he is revving to if the gearing on the stock tranny goes to 180+mph in 4th?

Mike & the AWD crew went faster this weekend Phil. Not sure if you knew that or not.

He texted me Sunday afternoon as soon as they got to the track. First pass it went 9.01, then a 9.0 pass and then the 8.98.

I don't know the weight of an RS, but I had mine down to 2,880 lbs with no interior(no rear seats, passenger seat, or carpet). I removed the crash beams, spare tire, etc...

I still had A/C, PS, and a radio though. I also swapped some parts with the lightweight Buschur parts.

I'm pretty sure on my car I could have dropped another 100lbs, but I decided to put the interior back in and I added the full NHRA 8.5 cage. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Damn I have seen some pics of your Evo and I can't believe you got it down to 2,800 lbs. That's incredible! I didn't think a lot of Evos could get below the 2,900 lbs range, but I forgot about the bigger back seats.
