i got 8 bowling balls but i normally only use 2 or 3... =)
I ve got a few too, I haven't figured out how to use even one.
BTW, Do they even really oil the lanes on the $.99 days? I know some houses only put about 20 foot of oil to help the ball through the ball return on "cheap" game days?
It depends the house. Most house's will soak the lanes out to the 30+ mark so that they carry oil all night long. Which for a player like me is fine b/c i play outside anyways. And your standard house shot is going to be straight up the middle. I know when I bowled up at my house on Monday night the lanes were dead ass dry. I couldn't shoot for ****. I think the first game out I shot a 178. BOOOOOO!!! I had to keep switching up balls trying to find the oil. Last game before I left I did manage to get off a 237. Which isnt to bad on a dry lane. But I have very bad days where I cant get my act together. Although unlike most people i bowl with I have only been bowling since The end of last year.
they oil the lanes, but not like you will find on a busy or bowling league day

most of my bowling balls i end up giving away b/c i like to try out the latest and greatest stuff. I may have 1 or 2 that i can give you but they are drilled for my throwing style. My little brother is trying them out right now. If he doesn't like them, ill let you know.

what are you bowling PBA oil for? I bowl in the PBA challenge at my house and chameleon is stupid hard. Everyone has a problem with that. My average went down 20 pins bc im bowling in this league. RETARDED.....

They play in a pba league on thurs, so I come after they're done and play on the lane. Treated lanes add another level of difficulty , which I find interesting

oh ok, I shoot PBA oil at my house too. They change it every week and dont tell us. Its to better the player were supposed to figure out by the end of the night which oil pattern it is. If we do we get half our money back for that week. Which is 12.50$.
Chameleon(sp?) happens to be one of the hardest oils to bowl on too. B/c the way they stripe the lane with it. If you dont shoot straight up and over your in trouble. Its a difficult pattern to get the ball to come back in after shooting up the high boards. I like to shoot 13 to the 2 board. But when i shoot this pattern I shoot 12 to head pin.

I think he means that he rolls the ball across the third arrow from the right or left, depending on which hand he bowls with, and the ball slides out to about the 2nd board from the ditch, (about 2 inches away from the gutter) and the ball hooks back to the pocket.
When the other shot is out he throws pretty much straight up the gut. The 12 board being Three boards to the right of the 3rd arrow.
