Btw, mike, I took your advice and decided against the Shaker, I went ahead and ordered the Cervinis 2.5" Cowl . (Its great since I get to keep it even with the blower upgrade :) )
sounds good.........Quote:

Nem-the shaker hood is pointless. It is only really functional on the 60's-70's Mustangs with carbs b/c it is a direct air flow. There is one hood that has a ram air and transfers the air to where your intake sits. Pretty bad ass.

Yeah, thats what Mike was saying. The whole "getting a blower in the future" had me convinced. Id hate to spend 700-800 on something I cant use later. Either way, it really was a choice between that hood you were talking about and the 2.5" Cowl from Cervinis. Im not a fan of that "snout" look so I chose the cowl. I heard the fitment is excellent from Cervinis, so im crossing my fingers since I havent had the best of luck in the past with fitment on other cars. The other reason was, the procharger places the intake filter near the rear of the hood, near the cowl, which was another plus. Im not sure if I want the procharger or the whipple.Quote:

No doubt. Procharger you can get more boost, but you dont get max hp until the top of the gear. Whipple and all ROOTS style build max boost at like 3-3500rpm and holds it. I went with the PC b/c of the BOV, now im running the biggest damn BOV they have and that I have ever seen. heheQuote:

the whipple george will be your best bet... always having torque right as you hit the gas is a addictive thing. plus the cervini hood on yours will look bad ass. also there hoods are perfect fitment. my brother has the cervinis stalker hood on his gt, and it came in at perfect condition.
Like Transaxle said, instant torque. It is wonderful not having to shift gears to accelerate. If I am doing 40mph, I can put it in 6th gear and actually feel it pull. My G35 never even had dreams of being able to do that. Also, I have heard that Whipple has some of the best customer service EVER! Some people sell their kenne bell's and go whipple for that reason alone.Quote:

hell i cant wait until tax time next season! eaton conversion going on FTMFW! :bigdance:
3.4L for Whipple... KB has a 2.8 and a 2.8H... Not really sure what the H is thoughQuote:

the only root style they have for the 4.0 is the Xcharger. the hi po kit makes 10psi but isnt intercooled. they make decent numbers but not worth the price IMO. once they intercool it its gonna be pretty mean. Doug at bamachips is working on an intercooler for it right now.
Well if you can get the whole kit at once then ...!!!Quote:
