    Default The Bumble Beast is back!

    Just got off the phone with Dave Buschur in Ohio and he stopped @ 38.6psi.... The car just put down 685WHP and 571FTQ!!! I still have 2-3 psi to go but plan on keeping that in my front pocket for a rainy day in Mexico... That is the highest amount of WHP put on that dyno other than a 42R. These guys know what they are doing!

    FWIW - Dave's car put down 650?WHP and 500?FTQ on the same dyno and went 9.65 @ 151.41

    It just broke the straight pump gas record for an Evo. On 93 octane alone (no meth) it made 600WHP and 443FTQ! The TQ curve is insane, it was making 425FTQ@ 4800RPM's and and 432FTQ @ 7500! It should go 140MPH on pump alone in the 1/4.

    This was all done on Buschur's Mustang Dyno.

    not too many people can handle you in Mexico. lol. You might have to look in other areas for some real comp.

    thats a funny lookin tq curve...lol...but thats because Im used to seeing V8 dyno sheets. Thats crazy power man. What you said is true, there is always someone faster, but you are gonna have one hell of a quest on your hands trying to find that someone.

    My goal now is to be in or close to 9's on straight pump, 93 octane.

    On race I want a deeper 9 than pump... if that happens.

    All the talk and numbers really mean nothing until I take it to the track and prove that it can happen. I'm dying to get to the track!

    Keep in mind, this dyno also reads lower than most. Your car is going to run some sick numbers this year Nick.

    If you need anything, let me know. Like say a backup driver, lol.

    Good lord that is going to be one quick ride. Not to many people can keep up with a car that makes that much power on DB's dyno

    Hey Clark! I will be looking to go as soon as I can. I don't think Atlanta will be to willing to let me make 9 sec passes give the saftey equipment I have. When did you get a Busa? 9's on pump is my goal...we'll see

    Run at MMP or Steele. You can wear a tank top, shorts, and sandals while running 9's and no one will bat an eye.
