Default Need help fixing my car

I just moved to Athens and as soon as I was done my car broke down. Figures...

I pulled up the carpet and checked the ecu code. It's throwing 16 short flashes which appears to be the injectors. I've pulled them and they don't look dirty or clogged so I'm unsure if that is truly the issue. What I'm looking for is a kind soul that would let me borrow two injectors to test. They are expensive new and will not take them back once I run gas through them. I don't like throwing parts at a problem so still just trying to diagnose it. If you know of anyone that could help PM me here! I start a new job on Monday and do have another car, but I don't want to leave my pregnant wife stranded at home

My car: 88 civic lx dpfi
    What I've replaced so far:
    new fuel pump
    new fuel filter
    new plugs
    new wires
    new tires 195/60/F14 on steelies
    new brakes
    new rotors
    new wheel cylinders
    new brake shoes
    fixed dome light
    fresh fluids
    oil change
New distributor or and rotor button
    New battery
