im about to purchase a hks ssqv bov for my 1991 300zx.. any tips on installing it and how difficult is it

Very easy in general. Not sure about on a 300z, shouldn't be hard.

Edit: Maybe a Z is hard. But on a 1.8T it is incredibly easy. I would never do it, but it's easy.

typical bov install? you will have to weld the flange on. unless you buy a hotpipe that already has it welded on.

wouldnt u need 2 for a 300zx? i dont even know... but yeah u will have to weld it. also make sure ur z32 is not the NA version lol.

thats because we have a bunch of hoses instead of hard pipes.

i wasn about to say the same thing. if u want to do engine mods to a 300zx just go ahead and put yourself down for 2. lol!!!!

Well that's not the reason. It's because the BOV can just mount to the charge pipe with a flange. Granted if you want your bov somewhere else the hoses are useful.

the hks ssqv at nopi comes with the flange already welded on the hotpipe.. so welding wont be a problem. i think i just need to take off the front bumper and install it.. it seems like its going to be difficult because everything is so compact in the front

that would make it a "bov kit" and not just a BOV. get it right, gat dammit!!
