Need opinions on getting a wing...

OK, so to go with the rest of my crazy ass car, im looking into getting a wing. I know its not completely functional, but i have the 01+ LS big side skirts (not the one on the car in my sig..they are much bigger then those), the GV nose and i just think the back needs something to go with the rest of the aggressiveness. So i have looked all over the place for something i like and thats a little different then the typical ricer GT wing... here is what i have found.

1) This is the one im liking so far. Its got a nice style wing and the sides are cool and different.

2) Tis one has a cool "flare" on the trailing edge of the wing which i like, the uprights are not typical of most others and the sides are on the small side.

3) I like this one because it sits low and far back.

I would say 3, since is sitting kinda low and it's not one of those F&F huge wing's like # 1 and 2. But than again, wingless is the best.

Pics of wings on Miata's would help a lot.

I think a wing is only going to "add" to your car if you run a hard top. open top is gonna look weird I think.

When it comes to GT wings the rule is: Taller than the roof, wider than the mirrors.

I vote for the lovely side skirts and a rear bottom lip thingy to make the car look lower but no wing... you knew that though.

I saw one that I wanted to tell you today, try looking at wings for Audi TT's. I got behind one with a niiiice wing on it... but it was painted, not CF. But it was smaller, rounder and with close posts like you need.

a wing without a hardtop looks teh gay. a small lip is the only thing that looks right with the top down. sometimes you can pull off the Wangan style as well, but nothing that sticks up or out too far.

Not that bad really. Someone on another board has a wing almost identical for sale and between seeing a awsome price for his and seeing that pic... thats what im doing :) But that Megan one (#3) is still nice :)

Yeah, i've though about those windows.. they're not that expensive either :)
this is the one im getting a good offer on buying... probably going to get... and sit it on the car and see what i think of it..... if i dont like it... i'll sell it to Erin lol. The will also look a lot different with the new side skirts...it'll make the car look a lot lower.

I like the stock MSM wing, but its too small for the car.. needs more aggression.
