I sold the eclipse and got a 3000gt vr4. It's a bone stock 91 w/ 73k miles. I bought it from the original owner, a 60 year old lady who babied it. Only problems are a warped rotor and a leaky rear main seal (from not being driven for 2 years). A lot of work to fix the latter but it doesn't bother me much since I wanted to upgrade the clutch and output shaft anyways. I ordered a spec 3+ clutch, 300m output shaft, slotted rotors, ss brake lines, and hawk pads. And as you can see in the pictures a couple of exterior panels from a 99 3000gt.
So here are a few pictures of the new ride:

Thanks guys.

The 3kgt is definitely a lot more comfortable to drive, not only does it have ac (I had removed it from the gsx), but it has electronic climate control, just set it and forget it :D As far as power, it has a lot more low end torque, and I used to think the eclipse had low end torque with the turbo reaching full boost at 3200rpm. It does however have a lot less top end than the eclipse did (but then again it is still stock). The gearing is waaayyy longer and is taking some time to get used to. But overall I'm loving it, no squeaks or rattles just a comfortable semi quick car.

As far as it being heavy, it has enough power to make up for it. Intake, exhaust, and boost controller gets these into the 12's. ;)

my buddy had one to dick around with as a beater. He took out the valve between the turbos or something like that and put a shot on it and ran low 12s everything else was stock.

3si.org actually, and yeah the 99 front end is hot but also expensive and kinda common. I'm thinking about just painting the black stripe pearl white to match the car and fabbing up some non-popup projector headlights. But that stuff is the least of my concerns and far far in the future. Right now I wanna get the car somewhat competitive for the Winged Warrior event (link (http://www.wingedwarrior.net)) because it sounds like a lot of fun. Right now I'm more interested in some performance over anymore cosmetic mods, I've already done the 99 sail panels and rear garnish and window tint, that's good enough for now.

Good for you Alex you deserved it..the other car was headache city..I had a GSX I know..lol..but I too had a buddy who had a VR-4 163MPH FTW...He popped the motor (spun rod bearing) and had it fully rebuilt with new jetted/ported stockers and it was sick..the front airdam moved up and down as well as the spoiler depending on the speed..I thought that was the coolest shit. Good for You :goodjob:
