i hope this is right section. it is entertainment.
i just got my HP tower cleaned and i loaded my internet and DSL (alltel) and when i scroll thought pages it does not flow smoothly like it did before. its choppy. the page loads fast, but when scrolling, so slow. :(
can anyone help me? or know what my problem is?
also, I have a linksys-G, and I have no idea how to hook it up. Anyone want to come over and fix this shiot. free beer. :)

Did you reformat? If so you may need to download video drivers.

ummm....dunno. lol. girlfriend and her dad did it for me.
he had to add a sound card, and i still have no sound. SHIT. how do i download video drivers.

how are you online now if you dont know how to hook up your net? LOL i can actually walk you through it quite easily

no, the net is hooked up. DSL, AOL, everything is correct. just, the pages load fast, but when i scroll down or up on pages it like studders.

Sounds like video drivers. Do you know if you had it changed or if youre running the onboard card.. I would come over to help tomorrow but im all the way in Conyers haha.

no, not changed. i got the tower 1-2years ago. Very nice HP but just went to a bunch of bad...but good sites. :) Some computer started slowing down. my g/fs dad cleaned it and re installed XP and a new sound card which doesn't work now. :(

ok i got the fix all solution here
step one:
shut down your system
step two:
unplug the system
step three:
open a window (preferrably on the second story of your house)
step four:
pick up system
step five:
throw that piece of shit out the window
step six:
go buy a new one

ok....do this. right click on your " my computer" go to properties
then go over to hardware
go into Device Manager
Scroll down toward Display Adapter and tell us what that say under it. like the whole name or w/e..
or try this. if u know the name of ur computer. like HP pavilon something shitty %$ . u can get on hp website and download their driver packs for that series.

ps. it could also be ur ram or memory space. right click on C: drive to see how much free space u got......... or alt + ctrl +del --and go over to performace and see how much % of ram are u using or number of rams ur using out of ur total amount.
