2 channels are 100 watts
2 channels are 25 watts
1 channel is 250 watts

500/5 = 500 watts, 5 channels

it IS, however, JL power, which is good clean power. Not ALL watts are created equal.

Typically, people will run the 100 watts to the front speakers, the 25 watts to rear speakers, and the 250 to a sub.
