Ok so a mid 90's M3. Is maintenance and all that BS going to be TOOO expensive. I've always heard that BMW's were money pits but are they really that bad?

As much as I love that car, it is an expensive upkeep. That's just keeping it stock. Later, QD.

do the work yourself and its not bad at all... only bad thing is the froced induction kits on them tend to run exspensive... but as long as you find one that has been properly cared for with new oil at regular intervals and maitinence records they are not that bad...

Just make sure that you find one that has already had alot of the maintenance done already. Don't pick up the cheapest one you find...biggest mistake you can make when looking for an e36 m3. Take everyone you look at to get inspected. My brother takes his e46 m3 to get work done at autofab, i would recommend taking anyone you look at there. Good luck with the purchase.
