Bascially, the moral is that it's our job to use the answers that God or whomever has given to us. Blind prayer isn't going to save you from sh*t. The treatment was there and he didn't take advantage of it. It was his own blind ignorance that lead him to die. I'm sure both the religious fanatics and the non-believers can agree to that.

cancer is a nasty thing, half the time DOCTORS who have learned medicine don't know what the heck they are doing!

Calm down homey. :) I am just being funny 1st of all. But 2nd of all it makes me MAD that things like this happen. Sure - if you say you believe in God then you JUST admitted that you believe in the devil as well - but a lot of believers do not understand that. Also it makes me feel better to NOT believe, b/c if I did believe I would immediately think 1) that the devil is winning, or 2) God doesn't care. Yeah yeah yeah, I get it - do good, be good, treat people right - my mom told me all of those things. And I know - ya go through a lil bit down here for the big reward at the end... yadda yadda yadda. But exactly HOW MUCH do we need to go through? I realize that the Bible tells many stories of Jesus 'healing' people, but that is symbolic. Those people were healed because they had faith that they would be healed. It was their own faith that healed them, not Jesus. Jesus himself admitted this MANY times in the Bible.

Moral of the story: Do not blame Jesus because someone did not 'make it through'. It was there own faith (or lack thereof) that failed them
