I dont really do the whole for fun thing so Ill have to figure out what class I'm in.

Matt, google SCCA classes, you can judge by your mods and whats given on the site. I dont know your car otherwise id try to help you out. Whoever does come out please come and say hello. Mention IA when you register at the trailer. Im in the burgandy miata shown in the main pic of this thread/my sig. Like to meet new people. If yall need any tips too, ill be more than willing to give you some pointers. You could do a ride along with me or I could ride with you and help ya out. If its your first event, ill suggest running TIME ONLY, due to most people DNFing (AKA disqualifying) so yea. :goodjob:

any thoughts?

Ill probally bring something other than my car as my car would put me in the big dog class and I dont want to change my setup to be competative, Ill probally see if I can borrow my brothers z06 or use the wifes stock sti.

I think someone should know the ins and outs of their cars, stock and modded. There are plenty of people who come out to the events with stock cars... it helps you learn your car... modded or not it can help you day to day... if you slide one way, you know how to correct it.... curves... hydroplaning, know how to correct that.... sorta the same concept. (little mroe wet... but yea) Sorta like a driving school but you're learning it yourself. With little help if you ask for it.

I say rock it stock for a while... I raced mine stock then added my suspension components, changed things completely but just gives you a bigger challenge to RElearn your car.... mod it and see how it changes... Stock FTW.

Sounds good man... I believe with either of those you can run Cstock? Not sure exactly what all cars go in that class though.

Sucks it will rain! I'll be in barnesville until summer on so middle,GA isn't that bad of a trip. Does anyone know if blackhills is still setting events up?
