I like sleeper, with the top console closed that's what I got. Even with it open you'd never see a shift light.................... I bought a $35 dollar Summit racing shift light, but the damn thing was huge, so I sat down a scratched my head, this is what I came up with. I bought 2 ricer led light from autozone for about $4, and took apart the shift light, it's classified information as to how I wired the LEDs into the shift light, but I will tell you it involved a plactic fork????

The lights are angled up because you'd die at night if they were pointed at you. It's cool because I can see the reflection on the windshield in addition to the bright ass lights.

This is where the knob to adjust the RPM setting is.

How the hell did it end up there?

It was a good project, but it's not fully functional right now. When I hook it up I lose the tach signal to my SAFC and data logger. I need to install a tach signal booster, I'll have it finished by the time the drag strips start to reopen.

Interesting. It seems you are well clever, with this and your short shifter. I guess  .

It's really bright, yes.

I can vouch for that, because I validated Justin's "Ghetto Card" the other day, giving rights to ghetto-rig his ride however he sees fit without penalties.

The Ghetto Police.

They're everywhere. :police:
