how much does a port and polish and 3 angle valve job normally go for on a single vtec? just want to know so i dont get ripped off. thanks want to do this for a single vtec turbo build i'm planning.

waste of money on a sohc , just spend the same amount on a LS or DOHC vtec setup...u'll get more power for the same amount....but ya your looking at $600...valve job and P&P

everyone does dual cam i've seen mildly built single cam turb cars pushing 300 for half the cost of a dual cam turbo. my goal is a fully built single vtec turbo pushing 350 and be my daily driver. i'm not doing single cam to be cheaper but to be different. up in mass all my friends were boosting but nobody single cam

650hp fully built gsr civic coupe at 28lbs.
380hp turbo ls/vtec del sol
300hp 94 ls integra
and a couple more but not one person with the setup i want

i saw a kid with a 93 dx hatch turbo but motor was stock and untuned blew up first run.

single cams to me are more reliable and seem to have less problems easier to come by
