el oh el. it's a xfer case, shit happens. power per $$ spent, you're not gonna beat the mitsu. you cant make an audi more than 600hp for less than 20k. how is it shitty design when it's easy as shit to pull 400 hp on the stock turbo, stock block, stock tranny, etc. yeah i blew up my xfer case - but i was also running easy low 12s (and I do mean low - 12.01 on a 1.8 60') all year. doesn't matter what car i have - subaru, nissan, audi, whatever, something was gonna break, hahaa. you go and run that time in your li'l z and tell me what breaks. beat it's gonna be more expensive than my xfer case. ;)

In the Z? How'd you go from 14s to 12s w/o nitrous? I know the STi ran something pretty good, right? 1.8 because the track was slick and my tires were REAL crappy, haha. Good days I can pull 1.5s and 1.6s. My tcase lasted 10+ times to the track with 6-7 runs each time. My clutch never went out, but I replaced it anyways. A couple hundred bucks = built tcase thats good for 700+ hp and I'm back on the track.

haha yeah EVo's need a 16g to reach those numbers. and the new evo 9 needs a 20g. STi's have a small vf39.. that can make 350awhp with just a tbe/meth/tune. with close to 400awtq. ;) show me and Evo that can do that with just those mods.

STis with the same power won't hit the same time as an evo, because of the 5th gear shift, while the evo can stay in 4th to about 120ish mph. On the stock turbo you're right, the STi is stuck at about 350hp. Mine is close to 400whp on the stock turbo on meth.

The 07 STis are a different story though - the gearing is much much better, and there's absolutely the possibility of hitting high 11s on the stock turbo. Several have gotten close, I believe.

Yeah, I bought my new car built, and if you think thats gay, your an idiot. Doing bolt-ons is a little different that doing a complete build like my car has. VERY FEW people make the kind of power I do without having a professional do a lot of the work. At this level, it takes an expert, and Im the first to admit that Im an enthusiast, not an expert mechanic. Its a little different than just bolting on a downpipe and installing a boost controller or meth kit, which I can easily (and have easily) done. So I can buy a car, then pay someone to build it, or I can buy a car that someone already built, and pay less money. Hmm...yeah, that really would make sense. I hope youre not a finance major.
I dont know what Val has done to her car overall, and I dont know who modded it. Seeing her topspeed connection, I presume they had something to do with it LOL I have nothing against Val, I just dont believe its going to cut 1.5 60's. I think you're missing my point. I said the faster I got, the worse my 60's got. I cut better 60' with 300 to the wheels and advans than I do with more hp. Plus it's hard to find tires that are better than the stock evo ones, but they're 300 a pop and I can't afford that. ;) I think my best with some decent power has been a 1.68 or something.

LOL I'm not here to race anyone, normally when I talk smack I'm joking around with people. I don't come out to meets, I don't sit there and brag about my shit because I know for a fact that it's not nearly as fast as a lot of cars out there. It's just a stupid Mitsubishi LOL.
