power window question

i have a 1993 civic lx four door with power windows. When i got the car, the only windows that roll down are the back ones. the back driver side rolls down with the main driver door switch but not its own and the rear passenger one rolls down from its own but not the main (the others dont roll down at all)

Anyway, i hoped it was an easy fix (fuses, switch other BS). i checked the fuses, all looked good. Got a new switch from a junkyard in good condition (plus i dont think both switches would have the same operating problem) well so even with the new switch, same thing..only back windows and no fronts.

i really want to fix these cause i hate riding with windows up but i dont know what else to check. Someone suggested motors but what are the chances that it would be motors and the rear window rolls down but not with its own switch?
