interesting, so they arent just doing exhibitions anymore like last year. you guys will get to compete thise year.
so this is the first REAL competition for amateurs and upcoming drifters. Kinda of like drift fury but on a much more national scale?
Wait, what i mean is, not saying that you guys are ametuers, but it seems right now, the only real drifting competitions out tehre cater to the BIG guys, the race teams, the D1 people. There isnt a place for the UP AN COMMERS to go drift. i mean, where does bobby go on a fri or sat night to practice? local parking lot, or drift fury 4 times a year.
this seems like NOPI is ahead of the trend for once in their lives, by bringing a COMPETITIVE series to the people.
that make sense?

It's going to be a pro drifting deries. I don't expect it to be perfect the first year and I don't expect the drivers to be as good as D1...althought they may very well be. Formula D and D1 drivers are welcome to compete. The payout for first place per event is $5k. That should pull in some good drivers.
Amatuers can come to drift fury. We will be doing a couple of different things next year all the qay from schools with instructors to pracice days to competitions to get your pro license.
There is always SEDA and DG Trials for amatuers, too.

Thanks! We are trying. It's a lot of money and a lot of weight on our shoulders...but we love it. I don't have any kids yet, so I have decided to make this one of them. Things went really well at PRI this weekend. I wish you would have come. You better make it nextyear. We need to go out for a drink (brew hizzy). I have lots of advise for ya ;)
