500 busa

Ok, it looks like I may be coming into a little money, like 20k.I want to build a bike.I am thinking of a busa. I need to know the best name brands in everything to build this.
pistons,rods,turbos,air filter,exhaust,computer, etc.
Also do they make and what do you guys think of a carbon fiber frame and swingarm.Call me crazy and what you will but I want to do this. If I get this money this is my plan.I need to know what shops are good and who can do it in a week.Also if a shop already has all of this then I am good just need a price. Also what size back tire do you think will be best? Goal is here is 500hp!

No shop can build it all in a week - parts take time to ship in. You're best bet is to buy a built Busa that is already turboed, and then upgrade it some more.

Have you considered the ZX-14 at all?

No this isnt my first bike.I looked at it the zx 14 that is and I was going to get a used busa,maybe save between 3-5k that way.

Oh ok lol. Definitely keep it in mind though... it's running 9.2's in the quarter stock. (Stock meaning no engine work, with power commander, exhaust, and lowered) It's a pretty bad bike. We've got a used one at the shop that's has only made passes at Commerce. I think it has like 10 miles on it max.

The bike alone won't do that. You will need to be an excellent rider to get it to move. If you really want speed, you will want a old Suzuki. Talk to the folks at Star Racing if you really have some cash and want to go fast.

damn man i just sold my turbo busa built by myself and the help of roaring toyz from florida...i had it tuned for the street at 375hp without the bottle... a 360 rear tire and single sided swing arm...custom painted and slammed with air ride suspension and of course extended...

i'm upto building another if ur interested...i think i'm goin to build a either a zx10r, gsxr1000, or an r1...not sure which one yet...let me know

dyno queen busas make 500+hp all day long...just to let you know...500hp busas are rare for the street...but busas can make 500+hp

Rossi's bike is of no comparison to this. Its N/A and built for a completely different reason. And its a multi-million dollar bike.

500+ hp is attainable on Busa's, but don't expect to get much mileage between rebuilds unless its going to be a trailer queen.

Personally Id rather have a bike that can actually go fast anywhere, not just in a straight line.

when i say rare...its just rare to see a 500hp riding on the streets...trust me its not about not alot of people have the money cause plenty of people have the money...my busa would push over 500+hp...i only ran 17lbs of boost to make 375hp out of an gt35r(600hp rated)...and thats without the bottle as well...i had plenty of boost and fuel to go...i never had a chance to really string it out on the dyno but it would have easily made 500+hp...
