Hi there! I've been lurking around this forum for the past week, figured I'd join. I dont live in Atlanta but I visit Alpharetta at least once a month, either going to topspeed or work meetings. this forum definitely has some fast cars! I have a few mods...35r, built block, dogbox, etc...pretty fast for an STi :D

I have a Cobb Stg2 block and Cobb Stg2 heads, Ultimate-Racing GT35R kit .82, 1000cc injectors, dual walbros, etc. My newest mod is the dogbox tranny :D . straight cut gears, much taller, 4th gear revs to 145mph (stock 4th went to 102mph) and there are no syncros, shift on the fly. I've previously ran 11.2 at 129mph with a bad clutch. I now have a triple disc clutch, dss axles/cv joints/hubs and a hydra standalone. I'm expecting mid 10's at 130+

after 200+ launches my stock tranny was feeling a little loose. My exedy triple disc was eating my drivetrain, including my syncros so I upgraded to a dogbox. Not many sti dogbox's floating around yet. The gearing of sti tranny is pretty bad for drag/street racing, my 4th gear revs to 145mph+ , stock was 102ish.

I never beat Dan's 616whp dyno number, but he would have never beat me at the track:D . Dan's a friend of mine, he was never interested in running his car to see what it could do. I might install a 50-75 shot of nitrous just for track use, and I'm sure I'll make well over 600whp. I'm still in the 550whp-590whp depending on the type of fuel.

same rear end. 3rd gear revs past 100mph :D . I'll be able to run the 8th mile in 3rd gear and the qtr in 4th gear. I think 2nd gear redlines at 68mph, cant remember. here's 2 more vids of "normal" driving with the sti dogbox.
