They say its moving away from us at 1.5inches every year which does not bother me since that aint gonna do shit any time soon. Though if a meteor hits it and it disappears, were all gunna be fucked.

Yep. The moon is now about 250k miles away, and they were saying 3 billion years ago when it was much closer, it was making 1000ft tides and waves of LAND every day due to the amount gravitation it exerted.
