-i've reinstalled my keyboard driver like 5 times already
-i've tried 2 different keyboards one of them was even usb
-everytime i hold down any key it will make the bleep sound and start to work only when i hold it down for 3+ seconds

1st off lets start from the beginning...

- turn the machine off
- make sure the keyboard is plugged into the correct port PURPLE = PURPLE / GREEN = GREEN ;)
- how hit the power button, as soon as the machine gets power your keyboad may light up or flash; while your machine is loading BIOS (or the Emachines screen) hit F2, DEL, F10 or whatever key is needed to enter setup

post back if your keyboard works enough to do that...

i've tried to boot the comp in safe mode (press f8 when it boots) but i still get the problem

the keyboard works fine untill i finish entering my password then it locks up

my next option is to reformat but i don't want to do that
