So I sealed the deal on an IMMACULATE Red 2003 Z06 with 7175 miles today.

I can't stop smiling, I've was so excited last night I could barley sleep.

This car is absoultly amazing, she still smells brand new!

The performance gap over my 2000 WS-6 is indescribable, every aspect of this car, accel, brakes, handling, looks, comfort, etc. is light years ahead of any car I've ever had.

Of course you guys already know this so I'll quit bragging!! HAHA

Not to mention the best part of all is I paid $4000 less than trade-in and only had to travel 20 miles to pick her up! Car also has GMPP warranty till Dec 2009 or 43,000 miles!

I'll post some pictures as soon as I can clean her up tomorrow!

The Z is stock as of right now

I'm graduating from Georgia Southern in May and might buy myself some long tube headers as a grad present to myself....of course I always have nitrous on tap! Full kit sitting in the garage....

The evo's head had to come off b/c of a cracked piston...which tore up the turbo....got a 2.3l stroker sitting in the garage...not sure what is in store for it...stroker kit or going back stock....it belongs to my roomate (lemansz here on the forum)

I'm from Milledgeville, live in statesboro...going to school.

First thing I would do if I had that car is put turn downs on it right after the cat so I make as much racket as possible lol

damn those are some nice cars, jw how does a college student afford a Z06?

well my first car was handed down to me by my brother 1994 Civic...sold it...bought a 1994 TransAm for less than i sold the civic for...put some money into it...sold that and bought 2000 TransAm WS-6....sold it and used that money down for the Z...i have a car payment...but its only about $230 a month...as soon as I sell my bike (its for sale here...lol) I have that extra 5k to put into the car!

Ive been working since I was 16 too...just working hard...and saving money...anyone can do it!

Oh yea...and student loans and hope scholarship are paying for my school

I have a red 99 WS6 and I am wanting to upgrade so bad I can't stand it. I just don;t want a car payment. Congrats on the car! All you need to be an ass whooping machine is a cam, long tubes, intake and drag radials. Or if you want to really put the screws to people do the above with a small shot. Get on www.ls1tech.com

I'm on both ls1tech.com and tamparacing.com

Thanks for the compliments guys

Car should run 11.1-11.2 with tires and 100 shot! going to get stock times on Thursday!

Just wondering, how much did you pay, and how much is insurance? Thats the BIG question that will decide how soon i get one of these.

I'm 22 years old and have my own policy by myself....only other cars on my policy is a 1966 GTO. Full coverage on both vehicles are 800 every 6 months with all coverages maxed out and $500 deductable. $300 for GTO $500 for Z06...just for referance my 2000 T/A WS-6 was $1100 every 6 months with same coverage and deductable.

Vettes are drivin by older people...less accidents...less claims that why it's so much cheaper!

Thanks for the link...

I'm no newb to modding....I installed comp cams 306 camshaft along with changing the valves springs and roller rockers. Clutch changes, headers, rearends....etc.

Think I'm going to leave the Z stock for now....after all she only has 7k miles...barley broken in!

I like the Evo better. Much more practicality than the Vette.

Nice lookin' Z06:goodjob:

Planning on getting one (hopefully a C6 Z06) as soon as I pay off my HD. Can't beat the performance per dollar.

Haha I'm single too, but I just have a ton of friends I drive around all the time. Its main reason I bought a four door Jetta instead of a GTI. Kickass Corvette though! lol
