So they're trying to get at him just because they appeared on the track?? Even when there was only a couple that said anything that could be taken as a shot at 50?? I didn't listen to whats on the link, but still.

Man come on now, you should know by now that thats a lame ass argument, since when did sales = talent or even ability? Ashlee Simpson outsold Jessica so that OBVIOUSLY means she's the better singer...

Come on now homey, if you ride them nuts any harder you gonna get saddle sores. :lmfao:

Lets throw the favorite rapper scenario out the mix..Whats the point of rapping or trying to rap if your not selling records?

Sure theres alot of "great" rappers out there but if there not selling records theres no reason for them to be in the rap game...

it's all about the money. Why you think Nas signed to jay? Why do you think game got dropped from aftermath? why do you think 50 is on top of interscope

money.

What's not to understand? 50 is a bitch. Like I posted in the other thread about beefs. 50 started beef with a shitload of other rappers(Gayme included) because they didn't want to feud with Ja Rule. Got mad at Gayme cuz he wouldn't diss Ja. Got mad at Nas cuz Nas liked Ja. Got mad at Fat Joe cuz Joe did a track with Ja. No one started shit with him. They just finish it. Later, QD.

I don't know about that, there's a lot that just wanna be in it and make good music.

True, which is why rap in general is gone to shit right now, and I think we can all agree on that one haha.

Doesn't sound like 50 is the bitch, since he is winning every fucking battle. The bitches are
1. Fat Joe, who's last album when double wood-grain
2. Jada and the Lox, who publically said they are broke and know 50 continues to push Styles P albums back, lol
3. Game, who got dropped off the damn label and Dr. Dre stayed out of it

Lol, even if it is NOT about album sales, 50 did what 1.2 MILLION his first week. lol.....

I mean, we cannot even say Joe or Jada lyrically destroyed 50. Then I could be like "well 50 do got more money but they ripped him a new one". Their tracks were as AVERAGE as 50s Piggybank.....

why not stay with BME?

That's simple. Lil Scrappy signed with G-Unit because he doesn't want to further his career as a rapper. Later, QD.

Daily Hip-Hop News:
Update: DJs Ban Young Buck, G-Unit Rapper Tells His Side
Friday - December 1, 2006 by Alexis Chase
Young Buck

While over 200 DJs connected on Thursday night's (November 30) Core DJ conference call to form a unified response to a recent exchange between Young Buck and Atlanta's DJ Will, Buck appeared live on Nashville radio to appeal for a resolution.

As SOHH previously reported, Hot 107.9 and other Atlanta Radio One stations removed Young Buck from their rotations following an incident Sunday (November 26), when Buck challenged Hot 107.9 and BME's DJ Will for playing The Game's "It's Okay (One Blood)" at Club Nocturnal, where Buck was scheduled to perform. Immediately after reports of the incident hit the media, DJs across the country showed allegiance to their fellow DJ Will, prompting Core DJs founder Tony Neal to schedule the conference call.

213 callers tuned in to the bridge conference to talk about the controversial situation last night. The call, which lasted nearly three and a half hours, included such DJs as Tony Neal, DJ Kay Slay, DJ Clue, DJ Finesse, DJ Impact, DJ Mars, DJ Kaye Dunaway and Interscope's Adam Favors, among many others.

While Favors reminded other Core DJs that Interscope and Radio One -- along with parties associated with DJ Will -- are already in the process of hammering out a resolution, a number of DJs felt that, until a resolution is reached, Buck's records should not be played out of respect to Will.

"It could have happened to any of us," a number of smaller market DJs reminded the group throughout the call.

The call also demonstrated that many of the DJs' frustrations extends beyond the Young Buck/DJ Will incident; as the overabundance of beef in the hip-hop industry has created ongoing tension for DJs who find it precarious balancing artist's conflicts with their own autonomy. More than one caller spoke to the need to send a clear message to artists and record labels, while others made pointed remarks about the low standards in hip-hop today.

"There's no repercussions for artists," one DJ complained; while another added, "We gotta do today what we can do to prevent any more negative shit in hip-hop. We're already on the line now. DJ's are the only thing keeping this balanced because the artists are out of control."

A formal decision on the part of Core was not made during the call, however several DJs were clear that they would not be playing Buck's records until they hear of a resolution for DJ Will. Some callers pledged to remove Young Buck from their playlists for 60 days, while others were keen on avoiding playing G-Unit and/or Interscope records entirely.

As the call was being conducted, Young Buck appeared on Nashville's 101.1 The Beat Jamz's "Dolewite and Scooby Show" to give his version of the incident [here the full interview here]. According to Buck, he was onstage preparing to perform accompanied by his own DJ, Don Juan, when DJ Will dropped The Game single.

Contrary to previous reports, Buck alleges he did not take offense to "One Blood" being played, but he asked DJ Will if he was trying to be disrespectful, and if so to drop the song again, which DJ Will did. At that point the crowd at Club Nocturnal grew incensed and after a failed attempt to perform "Money In The Bank," Buck approached the DJ booth.

Feeling threatened, Young Buck admitted to grabbing DJ Will by his shirt. The DJ attempted to explain the miscommunication and Buck let him go, leaving the club with his entourage. According to Buck, at that point clubgoers from Atlanta, who were not associated with the rapper, attacked DJ Will.

Buck expressed sincere concern over the current situation, acknowledging that an ongoing problem with a radio DJ like Will could cause serious problems for his career,

"I'm a grown man so I'm trying to figure out how to resolve this, I have an album to drop in two to three months [Listen]," Buck said. "Core DJs could cause a chain reaction to other DJs not playing my record."

While at the radio station, Young Buck attempted reach out to Lil Jon, whose BME Recordings also employs DJ Will, but was forced to leave a voicemail for the Atlanta rapper.

50 CENT & WHOO KID GOING OFF OFF OFF - ON EVERYBODY!

WOW. That's about all I can say about this interview that they did on Shade 45, late last week. You know, "Wow." Read below for the high points and the link to the audio and discussion (http://community.allhiphop.com/showthread.php?t=328365).

High points of the 50 Cent / Whoo Kid interview:

- They said that Remy Martin is hemmed up in her contract. They claim Rem cannot do songs with G-Unit or even interviews with them for three years. 50 Cent said her project was "mishandled" by Fat Joe and SRC. They also had some interesting things to say about Fat Joe's CD like "he couldn't go to Koch because I said he was going to Koch."

- Of The Game's "One Blood (remix)", 50 Cent said, "I really appreciate those idiots [the 26 or so rappers on it] for selling ‘my’ CD. When he said my, he meant he still gets money off The Game. “It helps promote and sell a project [Game's CD] where I own 25% of the profits."

- Of the rest of the rappers on the remix, 50 Cent said, "Everybody looks and they think 'Well you can't tell me what to do.' [The Game] played them. None of them sell any records. Look at Nas: 'Hip-Hop is Dead' is the same single [sample] off his last album. That right there is feasting."

- Of Game: "Technically, he is the biggest one on the West Coast. He sold more records than Snoop, right? Oh s**t, Game is the King of the West. How foul is that?" (They went on to give Snoop props for The Blue Carpet Treatment.)

- He talked about Jay-Z's marketing plan in detail. He wasn't quite dissing (kinda was), but related the cost of the marketing plan to the actual units sold. "I'm trying to figure out are they happy or are they upset over there [at Def Jam]?" They were quite funny...

- He's working on his next CD and said its 90% done. You know, that 50 Cent is certified loco

Game got dropped from the G-Unit part of the label, not Aftermath all together. Who really cares about staying on Gay-Unit when are still on aftermath. His first albumn did fine even though the whole fall out happened while it was a newly released albumn.
