Yup, I play on Lothar. Usually on my dwarf paladin Moryn or my gnome mage Yiktil. Was originally horde, but decided to join the light side so I could play Paladin, since they dont have shadow knights for whatever reason.

And yes, this is a repost, and Lineage esta the SUX!!! Absolutely no point in playing that game past lvl 1, no rewards, no REAL pvp (running up behind an afk lvl 1 and smashing him with your hammer is not PvP, not to mention the battle system sucks, the armor graphics suck, it's basically like Everquest 2 minus ANY fun... And EQ2 is pretty bad, so that isn't sayin' much about L2.

Ya, DAoC was alright for awhile, I like the crafting system in that game more than any other game. But I couldn't level up to the PvP minimum, just got too bored.

most mmrpgs are way behind what EQ1 was. WoW was awsome but lacked high end content, housing would of been a GREAT improvment for WoW

i remember how much of a huge deal it was when people were first trying to kill things in the first plane zones.

its the same thing with some servers. if you go in on certain ones all the high lvls left the zone so there like no one there. no economy and no guilds to go raid anything.

Me, and a few other people here are on Lothar, alliance in WoW. Or in EQ1 on Fennin Ro/Bristlebane, EQ2- Crushbone... I've got way too many active mmorpg subscriptions.

my schedule doesnt allow me to raid so i had to stop playing WoW. and it was just too laggy for me to play the massive pvp stuff in WoW now.

EQ2 i just didnt like. really slow progressions.. lvl 15 in eq2 felt like lvl 50 in EQ1

EQ1 was a ghost town for about a week or two when EQ2 first came out, then when everyone realized how much it sucked, they all headed back to EQ1. EQ1 is still the best mmorpg around imo.

I was never really into the whole "housing" thing in EQ2... I mean, ya, guild halls are alright, but it got boring running all over freeport to these fuckers houses just to buy somethin'... I prefer the tried and true East Commonlands tunnel torch 2 way.. or even the bazaar. As for the decorating part, I guess I just never really got into that side of it.... lol

dude i got the game 1 week after it went into to stores, played it for 2 1/2 years, I am one of the greatest players to be on tempest. I dont play anymore becuase alot of the orignal players quit, and no one knows people for who they where. THe only way i would ever go back to the game is if that started a new server, where the game is set back to 3-6 months after it came out!

personaly i prefer in an mmo anyway that it take a long time to lvl up to max lvl as in WoW there is no real sence of acomplishment well there is but it fades after 2 or 3 days. I would like to see one and i think EQ2 was like this as you progress through a lvl to the next you slowly grow stronger than as you cross into lvl up you get a big bonus as well as make it take people atleast 6months to a tear to fully lvl a charactor thats my :2cents:

i recently changed server i now play on Earthen Ring With several other IA members ...they dont post much..... but anyway, we have both Horde and Alliance chacters around 60ish and alot of characters around 30ish

I started playing the original EverQuest only a few months after the original release.

Played it straight through the first 3 expansions, of which I still have the original boxes for.

Still, the highest level I ever got was a 46 Rogue. >_<

By the time Luclin had come out, I had quit playing. I bought Luclin later...not near enough to keep me playing.

DAoC was the next MMO I played. LOOOOOOVED it for a solid ~6 months. RVR is the fkin' sh*t, dude. Best form of PVP yet, in my opinion.

Shadowbane was next. I enjoyed the easy-leveling, and the PVP system was EXTREMELY fun at times of guild raids, though "griefing" kind of ruined the game too.

Next I believe was....probably FFXI...yeah...2 weeks....that's all I needed to realize the game was horrible. Hi, I'm going to level up to 30 to learn a new "class", then start from level 1 all over again! Yay!!!!!!!

Played EQ 2 for about....1 day. Got off the island..realized I had no further motivation to play. End of story.

Then I bought WoW...got to level 16 within a week or w/e...liked it, but then I had no time to play cause of my job.

Now I'm back into WoW. Two solid weeks of playing = level 33 Hunter. Fast/easy leveling...

I think WoW has the virtually the best aspects to make a great MMO, though leveling in itself IS too easy.

I'm worried, because I'm level 33, and already I'm getting bored...nothing feels new or different anymore.

WoW doesnt really open up untill lvl 55-60 and you get into the endgame instances.
