I have lost Interest in the car, and have not touched it in 8 months. When this project started it was just my wife and I. We now have two kids and not enough hours in the day to enjoy this car and others. Therefore Cars (http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=403195#) with out 4 seats will be put up for sale along with some that have four seats http://www.supraforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif.

Car is currently un tuned. It does have a modified start up map in it, but its not very drivable with a 4500 stall, 1600 cc injectors and 89mm turbo on a modified start up map. I have no clue when it comes to the AEM and have no desire to learn it. There for I haven’t messed with it. The closest tuning shop to me is about 450 miles away and I haven’t had time to get there for tuning do to a new child, my work schedule and them having time to give the car the attention it needs. Those of you with big single cars know its not as simple as click click click than you.

I can tell you that on the modified start up map once on boost the top of 1st gear and all of second gear is useless on the 345’s It just paints two nice 13 wide stripes as long as you have the balls to hold into it. You might as well go ahead and figure in some coil over’s or drag launch kit.

This is a hell of a deal on car like this. You could not buy a 90K mile supra and do the body work or motor work for what this car is priced for. Think of it as getting a built motor and transmission for free, or free wide body that is done correctly. There are NO cut lines, bleed back or body scars. It looks just like a stock metal body car with a fat ass. Why pay $70K for a new Zo6 with 505 crank hp or $85K for a new viper when for less money you can get a car that should make 1400+ crank hp? There are no stories with the car and nothing to hide. The pictures and parts list should speak for itself

Here are some good pictures of the car. There is also a link to web shots incase you want to kill a few hours looking at the build up.

Thanks for doing it somewhat correctly, although obviously being a smartass about it.

Either way, you've got the requirements, so whatever. Good luck with the sale.

2) Holy shit, that car is hot.

3) You flared out some TRD fenders? That explains why I saw TRD and widebody, but no 3000GT on the car. Flawless body work.

Good looking supra... 60k for a 93? Bit too pricey IMO. Most banks you cannot get a loan of more than 20k on a car older than a '98If you don't mind me asking, what does that have to do with anything? The car clearly has FAR more $$$ invested into modifications than a bone-stock 93 would be worth. In other words, the new owner will be primarily buying the modifications & upgrades, not just the car itself. I'd suggest that the value of a bone-stock '93 (possibly a poorly maintained, worn-out '93) is almost irrelevant...as is the value a bank would loan you for a bone-stock '93.

Beautiful Supra, Kerr. Good luck with the sale. :goodjob:

CapitalOne Auto Finance will finance just about anything regardless of mileage, year, etc.

Not to mention a good credit union will loan almost any amount for a good customer.

The car has obviously been flawlessly modded, maintained and built.

Good luck with the sale. The car is definitely worth the money. Just have to find the person that has the money.

I'd consider it but I'm flying up to New York in 8 days to pick up my Z06. =D

Thanks for the reply’s, Yea i guess it was a stab at the guy that locked the thread but not everyone wants vin numbers posted. Also don’t see why posting a link is that big a deal after all that saves your band space.

At any rate, those of you that have no clue on supra price feel free not to post, You can not buy a 93 turbo car for under 20K in any condition. To buy that car stock with less than 100K miles you looking at $25-28K. Then you ad in the body work, body kit, and color swap your now close to another $20K. Then built motor, fuel system, aem stuff, turbo kits, everything to get it to work is close to $30K... it ads up quick and you have to pay to play. I’m not mad about the commits but some of you have no clue what your talking about. I mean the intake system alone will run you $4k before it was painted. The front bumper, Duluck, was $2500....

By all means if you feel its priced to high go buy another supra and duplicate this build up... Oh wait you cant, it a custom one off body kit, turbo kit and wheels that volk no longer builds.

Who gives a crap what Pooprahs sell for, that doesn't change the fact that they are overpriced and overrated.

and you drive a purple hatch... thanks for your reply.

the turbo set up on the car with smaller injectors, 1 less fuel pump, stock rods, stock pistons and stock intake manifold, hks 272 cams did 985 wheel hp at 32 psi on C16. Im quite sure with the modified start up tune that’s in it now it over the 500 mark on straight gas. Its never been over 20 psi but i put about 10 cars on a turboed LS1 that has 420 wheel hp.

We are trying to get a time set up to get the car tuned. It just takes some planning when you have to figure in two days of drive time. also Dan at battleground said i should figure on 8-10 hours to get it 100% done.

On the other hand if i get it tuned and it does the numbers i was shooting for when we did the build up it probably will not before sale ;)

20k for a bodykit and paint job?! $2500 for a bumper?!?!....damn you got ripped the fuck off. MVP has them for $846 here (http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=2662&SearchYN=N). The Motor probably cost around 15k not 30k.

once again, dont like it don buy it.

Have you built a Supra Before?

Im in the process of building a 2JZ right now, an shit is EXPENSIVE. ROds $1400, Pistons $1000, cams $600 a piece etc.

Some shops are charging $20,000 for a SHORTBLOCK. Team Toyota has a few BUILT SHORTBLOCKS with destroked cranks going for $20,000 right now. thats just the bottom end, good for 10,000 rpms, and 1600whp.

As he said he built the car 3 years ago, prices change in 3 years. It used to be JDM front ends for an integra were $5000, now they are less than $2000.

Overpriced

once again, dont like it don buy it.

BUY THE CAR OR BUMP THE THREAD, THIS IS NOT FOR DEBATE, OR DISCUSSION.

im tired of seeing people rip apart a car nicer than anything they will ever own, in some lazy ass attempt to make themselves feel better than the OP.

BUY IT OR SHUT THE FUCK UP
:goodjob:

I see your always trying to make point and still are clueless.. it must suck being worthless piece of shit.

While you close you left a lot of stuff. I’m sure that no matter what I post you will find something to replay about. This happen when have a dieses call jealousy. Also using you same web page it seem the prices have changed after you last post, or maybe you just suck a lot of dick to get parts cheaper?

Block board .20, $ 600...
Crower stage III cams $1,500
You must have over looked the arp HEAD STUDS at $750.00

Ok, screw this, you are fucking retard, Take the valves for example you have what? $93.60... that’s a nice price, But its strange that a supra has 24 valves.... and the cheapest ones they have listed in Ferrara for stock size is $24.50 each... Then you still need all the other stuff to make them work.

$2,160 for a custom made 88mm precision turbo, waste gate, 4" down pipe, and 4 " cat back is awesome. I forgot that turbo kits where that cheap. One would think everyone would have 88mm turbo kit then..

Tell you what, when you figure out what the hell your talking about, feel free to post again. Please dont be upset with me that motor even with you half math is worth a lot more than you car for sale. Maybe i should return the favior and post in your threads... Im sure the people would like to know what a 93 Eclips with 108K miles is worth in my opinion...

Have a good day.

yeah hes using the CHEAP ARP headstuds, not the $750 ones.

$2160 for an 88mm turbo kit LOLOLOL

The TURBO prob costs that much with the coating. Manifolds for supras are $1200-2000, WG has to be AT LEAST a 44mm, on his car im sure he has a 60mm or twin 44mm Tials. which means $600-800 for wastegates

THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY FERREA VALVES ARE UNDER $100, maybe for 4 of them. a HONDA HEAD costs $200 for 16 VALVES on a FOUR CYLINDER, this has 6. and he has the OVERSIZED PRO valves, not the regular ferreas.

Im sure machine work, blueprinting an balancing on a supra motor is prob in the neighborhood of $1000 for QUALITY work.

Kerr, he has NO LABOR listed either.

dont let him bother you, some people have no clue what it takes to build a QUALITY car, especially one as high a caliber as yours. its a turn key 1400whp setup.

Im building my supra motor now, and it is NOT CHEAP and i dont pay for labor. A shop like Batlground doing the work, hell they had a 8 second supra, im sure it was not cheap.

BUMP

like mike said, dont let this kid bother you, he obviously knows nothing but what he reads and not what things really run for actual costs even when you get a deal. very nicely done and post up a dyno if you decide to tune that beast!!! mad props!!

I understand that each person can post as they please. What makes me mad is we all know he can not pay for the car and has no desire to own the car which is fine, ( car is over rated ) But when you post incorrect information in a person’s ad about a car for sale it makes a real buyer wonder what the truth is. What he is doing is about the same is if I was looking for 5 carrot diamond for the wife and found on one big ass diamond forums. Say the guy wants $150K for it instead of the $200K it should be worth. Then I come along and say yea the ring looks grate to have come from Wal-Mart.

I haven’t given the skyline a thought, A close friend of mine has a real R34 GTR or what ever the top of the line is, with HKS twins, fuel system, stroker motor, etc etc etc etc.... Its a fun car but the quality of the car is not the same as the quality of nissan stuff we get in the USA. To be honest with you the R34 is about as nice inside as nissan first extera base model if that... Think of it more as a late 80's hard body turck. While the interior quality suck i would still love to have to have

I haven’t read anything on the new cars, Figured ever car they have brought back so far has been a joke, Mr-2, Lancruiser, GTO, etc..
However another close friend has a Nissan dealer ship so im sure i could order one.

Is there any real info on this upcoming skyline. I mean real stuff from like from Nissan instead of it could or should or might have info you read on the net?

To be honest with you if it does sales ill probably not do anything. Make some investments, play the market then get some pimp with the returns if there is any... That again is IF the car does sale. Nothing is sold until i see it on my bank statement ;)

Thanks Mr. Kidd, If the info he posted was correct it would not have been a big deal. Even with his incorrect information on the price of parts, and not including the major stuff he left out. He came up with $13K
So by his math and "true retail value" that nada has listed and he spoke of, ( considering you can buy a supra at nada values ) that would still make the car "$33,000" with half a motor, no trans, no wheels, no converter, no computers to work the injectors, no paint, no wide body, and the list goes on and on and on....

Ok your right...I looked at the price of a turbo alone (not a complete kit). Turbo kit from mvp is $4,185.87 ($2025.87 more). Also right about the valves...complete set of valves would be $600...but if you want to include the springs, retainers, locks, etc. then it would be $1,497.76. The head studs I listed were the cheaper ARP head studs listed but if you got the $750 ones add another $620. Then add the missing parts (Block board .20, $600 &
Crower stage III cams $1,500).

New total: $19292.56

Good job you spent 5k more than I thought still 10k under your claimed 30k motor.

Anyways feel free to comment on the 97 (not 93) eclipse that I used to own if you feel so inclined.

Have a good day.
