Cruised out to milladgeville to see my lady, and on the way back on highway 441 got yanked over for doing 81 in a 55.

26 over :(

i'm 19 so its pretty close to pulling that liscence.

i called them up on what to do, and they said to take a online defensive driving course and send them in the paperwork as well as the money for the fine, and the points wont go on my liscence, nor will i get an insurance raise?

has anyone ever heard of this?? she said you can do it only once every 5 years???

if that isnt true? what else could i do, courts in like a week and a half?:police:

I'm about to do the defensive driving class to lower my points.

you are only supposed to do it every 5 years but i've actually heard of people doing it more often and them not catching it but don't expect that to happen... The classes take 7 points off of your record and usually cost around $75. They take about a day to complete, most of the time an 8 hour day on saturday.

You can file for an extension. You can usually get that done once or twice and buy yourself a month or two...

Yes sir. I'm winding out my 3rd license suspension in as many years for a 79 in a 45. In Georgia the Police and the DMVS will stick their collective, fat unlubricated, penis in your ass for breaking traffic laws.

But Feb is right around the corner, when I can get my shit reinstated, so I'm really looking foward to not having to ride MARTA everyday.

You can't plead nolo for speeding tickets 24+ over. Believe me, get a lawyer and do a jury trial.

Dont fucking speed and you wont have shit like this happen to you. No one on IA wants to hear your shit. Your the one who commited the offense so deal with it on your own. And how the fuck did they "yank" you? They threw something on to your car and just "yanked" you off of the highway? Please explain.

n. A figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison, as in “a sea of troubles” or “All the world's a stage” (Shakespeare).

hope that helps you on the YANK term, i could go back and put PULLED OVER but all in all people with common sense acctually know what i'm talking about.

i was asking for advice, not for you to fix my problem, asshat.

and as for my shit, i dont know, maybe this post in the future will help those who have no clue what to do, and the Defensive driving acctually does get me out of this point adding scenario, its acctually a contribution, unlike your ranting ass post.

if you have anything else to add AirBrcak, please start it in the kills-forum, and call me out on it.

thanks.

Can't pleade no-lo inless you are over 21, and if you did pleade no-lo you would still have to pay all the fines.

If you called and they said they would lower it to 8 over if you took the course, then why havent you takent he course yet? If they do lower it to 8 over, you will not lose your liscence and your insurance rates will not go up ;)

there is alot of missinfomation here...you CAN plead NOLO (a plea of "nolo contendere" means that the defendant neither admits nor disputes the charge) under the age of 21. ive done it. You cannot plead nolo under 21 for a DUI though, or if you are under the age of 18. in this case if the prosecutor(im guessing thats who you talked to) is telling you how to get out of it, DO IT! also there is a loophole in the Nolo clause, you can only plead it every 5 years, but it only counts toward like offences, and typically only in the same county. i have successfully pleaded no lo 3 times from age 19-22. My best advice though if you have the money is to get a lawyer. most times they can save you court costs and have the violation dropped to a lesser charge (ie too fast for conditions). then you can save that no lo.

I'm 19 and got a ticket last year for 26 over. All i did was take a defensive driving class ahead of time and plead for a speed reduction. It basically just shows the judge that you care and that you know you made a mistake. So, in a sense, you'd be pretty much kissing his ass... but I got off with a $200 fine... no probation... no license suspension.

It's all circumstantial though, so what worked for me may not work for you. The judge could be an ass. I'd say that's your best bet though.

called up and kissed the solicitors ass, it got dropped to 14 over, and a 150 fine, but i still need to attend D/Driving.
