11-27-2006, 08:15 AM

11-27-2006, 08:23 AM
umm, no lo?
but if you plead guilty, you'll pay both tickets though.. tint/ no proof of license
no license? meaning you had one at the time or no?
b/c if you left it home, sometimes they will throw that charge out..
07MaxwhitE
11-27-2006, 08:24 AM

You can probably save yourself time and just pay the ticket. I tried to fight a loud music ticket. I was guilty from the start it seemed like. Not only that but they raised the fine. Although, if you do have to attend court, they may be giving you additional punishment.
07MaxwhitE
11-27-2006, 08:26 AM
but wat im saying is that this isnt regular traffic court i gotta go to state court so i dont noe if i can just pay the ticket
ORGANIZATIONXIII
11-27-2006, 08:27 AM
so you were driving w/o a VALID DL?
LS2ner
11-27-2006, 08:28 AM
Then more than likely they're going to issue the fine AND additional punishment. Could be community service or driving school. How old are you anyways?
ORGANIZATIONXIII

Oh and State court is not joke. Ive never been, but alot fo my friends have. If you plan on getting out with your nuts still attached, then you might wanna seek legal counsel.

why do you have to go to state court? It should be the court that's in forsyth county! Also, in some cases you HAVE to plead guilty in arraignment (in traffic violations atleast) and sort of lessen your sentence at your actual in court date. For what you got you should get an appointed attorney (since it isn't a huge problem) and go from there. Depending on your age, you could be forced to not be able to get a license for 6-12mnths, face a couple more fines, and do some community service.
My uncle JUST got out of jail (Spent 5days there) for driving on a suspended license and he has no prior history of problems besides minor speeding tickets and a public intoxication charge...

damn man i just need to do whatever to stay outta jail but like i said if it was just a traffic court then i could just pay the ticket w/o even seeing the judge but in this case i dunno
LS2ner
11-27-2006, 08:44 AM
Yea, thats why i said to seek legal counsel. You may not NEED a lawyer, but being advised by one wouldnt hurt. I dunno if State issued court dates are manditory, but count of an increase in fines if it is. They will have to bring in the issueing officer, which costs money, and only pisses the judge off more. I asked your age because that can directly effect the fines.

Lolz, not a good idea. My good friend tried that. Except he knew he was fucked and decided to play around with em. He'd let em catch up, then speed off. He dodged a spike strip, and managed to dodge 2 road blocks. He ended up giving in when he ran out of gas, that and the fact the GSP car was about to wreck him out.
Needless to say, he was 16, and lost his liscense for 2 years. On top of that, he got 80 hours of community service, 6g's in fines, probation, and driving school. In your case, it wouldve been worse. So be happy you pulled over.

well if you don't get your license and you're pulled over again........no questions asked you'll be in jail!! If no one bails you out or if you don't have the funds to bail after I think 5-6hrs they'll dress you out and put you into population until you get your 1st appearance. Depending on whether you get arrested by the city or county you're in that 1st appearance can take up to a mnth! A mnth in jail isn't fun.......hell the 4 days I was there wasn't..........
good luck and be smart

Proably tell you to learn how to speak proper english and spell it correctly :lmfao:
And I suggest getting a license before the court date or you WILL be fucked.

There is no jury unless when you go you ask for a trial. Then you will be put on the calendar for another date, and have a jury decide your fate.
If I was you I would strike a deal with the DA as soon as court opens. The first 2hrs they have you enter a plea "quilty" or "not guilty". Then after that everyone goes before the judge. So if you can strike an agreement early the DA will recommend your punishment to the judge, and the judge will usually accept. This is not really a big deal to them, they see lots of bigger crimes. With that said don't expect to get off. You will atleast be fined, and possibly more.
