Ricer products are cheaper than oem because they are absolute shit. This topic reminds me of that S2000 that guy posted with that horrible body kit. Everyone then hated on it, and he said well it was like one dollar.

Maybe they like the body kit more than stock. Just because you think its ugly doesnt mean they do and its their car. To each his own.

"To each his own" works in a few cases, only to a certain extent. If someone has Alteza tail lights, or clear tail lights and they were not stock, they are a ricer. End of story. If they have led window sprayers they are a ricer. I accept peoples differences and I know that everyones car is not going to look like I would like it to. But I have to draw a line somewhere.
to each his own" is true.. people buy stuff for their car.. they drive it.. they like it.. everybody is happy! i wont lie im get tired of seeing stock bodied cars with wheels and lowered.. its clean but its boring. But thats what everyone is into nowadays. years ago people would do stuff beause thats how they wanted it to look. crazy kits and conversations, all that creative shit..

Speaking of drawing lines, I must draw one here. Altezzas/clear taillights alone don't automatically make you a ricer. Some cars look better with aftermarket lights. LED washer nozzles are dumb--I'll give you that. But there's also a difference between ugly body kits, and good looking body kits. Just because something's not OEM doesn't automatically make it ugly. Keep your car stock--but don't bitch when somebody else decides not to.

Sorry but clear tail lights is rice. Automatically.
And I never said I had a problem with bodykits, but some are clearly rice.

its all in how you carry out the theme through the car, if you go over the top, and add too much then yeah its gonan be ricey.
most people that are into my generation celica, and even others that arent, hate all the body kits that are made for my car. but yet when they see my car, they actually like how it turned out. its all in how you do your body work, how everything flows together. if you actually care about your car and do a good job, it'll look good. but ifyou just buy a body kit, screw it on, and paint it, then yeah, its gonna look like shit.

That was a stupid comment....
To each his own means to each his own, not to each his own as long as they don’t have altezza taillights.... I personally don’t like Ur car but who gives a fuck its Ur car Ur the one putting money into it to do what you like. I didn’t mod my car to Ur liking or anyone else’s. I modded my car to my liking if u don’t like it then oh well seems like its ur problem at that point cause I’m happy with it. Yes I agree I dislike bodykits and clear tail lights and big ass Nike swoosh stickers on rear windows, but who gives a fuck I didn’t put up the money for them to do it. What bothers me about ricers is the way in which they carry themselves and the way that they demonstrate the car enthusiast world. When they start doing burnouts in parking lots then it affects me at that point it bothers me. But the way that someone’s car looks is on there own discretion....

dont take this wrong, but ur car is rice. u know, im sure u put a lot of time and work into ur car and thats cool. urs isnt too bad though. there are different kinds of rice. most body kits are rice. $20 ebay fart cans are rice. led washers are rice. big useless wings, especially on fwd, are rice. ghetto DIY paintjobs and cheap nasty orange peel paintjobs are rice. and goddamn altezzas are rice. put um all together and most ppl will vomit when they see ur car. ricers try to have dope rides but are too poor to have a nice car and/or theyre too poor to afford nice parts. most of all ricers just have bad taste.:2cents:
