Hdmi hook-ups for ps3

I was just wondering who has seen their ps3 it in full 1080p. I have to say it is better looking than any game I have ever played. I had a 360 and with hd playing at its full capacity it never, looked like the ps3. Big ups to sony, for bring this out. The blue way was crazy looking to watching T Nights( I wanna go fast)

PS3 doesn't even upscale regular dvds or ps2/ps1 games. So you can only watch DVDs in 480p. Plus if your tv is only 1080i and doesn't support 720p, you'll see most new games in 480p.

been there done that, looks amazing... can we expect it to get better over time as producers get the hang of the technology?

HDMI is also pretty sweet cause it transmites both sound and video at amazing quality..... the 8ft wire can get expensive though.

You know it looks alot like 720p...... You can just get a line doubler for a 1080i signal and it becomes a 1080p.......

Have you actually seen the picture coming out of an HD-DVD drive for the 360? I don't think it's even out nor do they make games for it yet. You can't really compare the two until you see it. Just my :2cents: though.

Just my :2cents: though.The hdd for the 360 is going to be nice. I know a guy who works for microsoft, he said they are bring it out to compete with the blu-ray. Because they dont want their die hard 360 fans to be left out. He said it would be good. But he also said hdd doesnt compare to blu-ray.

it is out. and it only works with HD dvd movies.

games are currently already HD on 360.

and yeah blu-ray does look alot better. And the ps3 will upscale
