What is the price range you are looking around?

If you can go higher in price, look for an 04-05, or maybe the new 06 Wagons with higher displacement and lots of things that were reworked for that year model.

I have an 04, and I love it.

im sure if you get one you will be extreamly happy with it. my gf is a huge fan of integras and after selling her car she wanted to buy a type r. after driving my car for a bit she went with a wrx instead which is enough said. i on the other hand love these cars. i bitch to work on but they will get you through the rain and make you feel alittle more safe. if your looking up upgrade some stuff best bet is to do a turbo back and then ecu reflash and you will be happy and nutting in your pants for a couple of months.

They're great. I've filled my wagon to the brim with boxes, couches, kegs, etc stuff that I'd never be able to fit in a sedan and the car still hauls ass to boot.

In trade for packing on only 80 more pounds than a sedan, youll get more practicality, more sleeper points, and less attention.

Ive found some 02 wrx wagon for about 13-14k some with mods. and some just regular what should i look for when buying one ive only owned honda and a eclipse those are simple cars when does the warrenty go out

Powertrain warranty is 60K but they'll void it if there's any significant mods. Be sure to test drive the car and get a feel for how the car was treated (especially the transmission). I'd say 13K for a relatively low mileage 02/03 would be reasonable, most higher mileage ones are going for 12-ish.

Even with rims and an exhaust I never get a second look from cops. I dont know how many times I've almost shit myself from flying past a cop doing 25 over and he just keeps on rolling.

Subaru's are very realiable cars. If you're careful with them they can last you along time. I'd say go for an 04-05 model. Why cause they have a better tranny than an 02-03, seats, blah blah blah.
If you want something better than an 04-05 get an 06. More power and alittle bit better tranny. More blah blah blah
If you have more questions check out a few WRX/STi fourms. I'm sure they can help you out way better than we can. L0L

If you want instant power for cheap, an Evo is the way to go. If you want a very comfortable, and reliable car; STi is the way to go. If you want a fairly cheap, but nice platform to mod; get a WRX.

There are three factors that come in to play when it comes to buying and modding a car. Reliability, Economy, and Power. You have to pick which two you wish to have, and run with them. It's impossible to have all three, but a subaru can get you pretty damn close.

Check with your local credit unions. Do you parents work for a company such as Delta or Bellsouth? Those companies have in house type credit unions willing to work with you a LOT easier than companies through the dealership. I got the loan for my Subaru through a Credit Union through bellsouth. Low interest rate and low monthly payments.
