I didn't realize when I took the pics that it needs like some sensor and some other crap that I don't know about until I came in today and I was told that dude never brought it (the car is supposed to leave today). I guess I should have said that Dan did the wiring harness so that all of the stuff would work such as the A/C and the PS.

Halo...What's your name. You didn't tell me that you were Halo on the site.

i would as soon as i find out how many AMPs the Stock SR alternator puts out. and what other Nissan alternators require little to no mods for it to mount.

i never had a problem with me Z32 with 2 amps, dual maxima fans, and other minor add ons.

all i got in my SR is a 255 and 1 amp and im bottoming out on my sub. =\ so i don't want to put my altima fans if all im going to do it blow out my alternator.

so im looking at VG30De, NAZ 90 amps and TT 100 amp. and im sure the VH41/45 and VK have a bit more amps. the VQ30/35/40s should be at least 100.

I just asked cause I've never seen an sr20 with the mechanical fan on it. So I didn't think they came with one.

No shit. I'm sure whoever is getting the car didnt buy an electric fan. Thats why they didnt out it on.

And the stock ones wont pull enough air. You need the clutch fan until you get a flexalite or permacool.

The car actually has an electric fan on it, they just havent pulled off the mechanical fan yet. I think they are waiting on a few parts to finish up. The kid who is having the swap done didnt have the ignitor chip, so they borrowed mine to check everything. I dont know what else they were waiting on.

he could always get the Z32 ptu, they are cheap and easy to find and easy to put in too.

What?

Are you talking about a Q45 igniter?

HaloZ

Z32 = 90-96/99 300zx

PTU = power transistor unit = nissan name for the ignitor.

I made a mistake. I thought the car was done. It was close to done. I'll put up more pics before it leaves. I'm pretty sure it's done now...but I better make sure since everyone has something to say. :P :)

nothing but crackheads in the Nissan community! hehehe, I love it. Oh, and BTW, I need some help putting on my hood onto the grey 240 now that I got the SR in it. I do not want to fuck up the paint, so I can't do it by myself!
