So i just bought EVO8marlon/EG2's del sol, and i'm wondering where to get started on this thing. It needs a new interior which is straight foward, but since this car's for a girl she wants the AC hooked up. Where's the best place to start with that?

i'm currently trying to figure out the history of this car. So far i understand that it's gone DirtyOctopus > EG2 > EVO8MARLON > me

and i have no idea which one did the engine swap

look at the block code right above it will tell you what engine it is. then look on google to see what car it came out of. then by the service manual for that car.

according to the forsale post it's a D15z1 SOHC VTEC 1.5L

other than that i don't know how to identify it just by looking at it/where the engine block code is.

So yesterday i'm cleaning up the car real good, i finsh so I try and back it up into it's spot out of the way.
I throw it in reverse and as soon as i let the clutch out the car torques and i hear a loud '"PING!"'. The car backed up fine, but i go look on the driveway after i park it and there's an 8 inch long bolt about 3/4" in diameter lying there.

any idea where it goes?
i'll put up a picture of it when i get the chance.

EGLover119 > Dirty Octopus > Annhilation > EG2 > EVO8marlon > you
EG2 or Annhilation did the swap :dunno:

you can talk to me for the most part about the history... but for AC get all the stock SOHC components and the del sol VTEC bracket (if you're going DOHC)

lol that bolt sorta looks like one that goes on the tie bar, i think, in the back of the car

it actually kinda looks like it goes through the starter. Check to see if you have to bolts going through your starter.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Dirty Octopus™ again.

thanks whyt_teg, it was the bolt that goes through the trans mount rubber.
