i have a 99 civic hatch and i ust bought b18b1 integra motor. it has forged rods and pistons, bored 40 over. the head has been ported & polished, new cams, valves, springs and retainers. I realy wanna run a turbo setup but, i need it to be reliable. Because its my only car. Would this be possable?

absolutely, if you do it right and buy decent parts.

ls built daily driver.... + 10psi= no problems.
all depends in the parts that you use. do it right the first time and you wont regret boosting.
a mildly built ls can support up to 20psi safely, i said 10psi because you want it to be reliable.

what this guy said.....if its not a high compression motor boost it and get it tuned by a good tuner and you will be good.

You will be ok. Specially if you have forged internals. Quality parts and it will be very reliable. Trust me i know i have a LS boosted daily driver bone stock

It doesn't matter too much with CR. I have 9.9:1 in my B16 (compared to 10.2 from the factory) and I boost to 12 psi daily. It's been 11K+ since I built it with forged internals. Just use good parts and get a great tune and use 93 octane. But it's going to be a bitch when it comes to emissions unless you live outside the metro area.

^^the same thing i was thinking about, then u really should run about 7psi on it... unless u put a stock bottom end back on it.

depends, it is a bit more of a hassle. ive learned when you start modifying cars it requires alot more attention and something minor seems to happen all the time. when my dd was modded pretty decently, it was a pain in the ass and i was constantly having to fix things when i was in a hurry [to school, work, on a date?, whatever]. just be careful with it and make sure it is done right and by the right people. worst scenario is being wasted then breaking down...watch out for that.

spray that bitch and fuck it..... you can spend the money your were going to spend on the turbo setup if you fry your motor. but i'd just get it straight with the nitrous, and use your bike for speed... well... sorta! haha hurry up and get a tire so I can smoke that ass!
