does this count as all-motor? this is the startup of my rebuilt LS1 on the newly made engine stand at Red Star Performance.

it's got some bark to it :). of course it's only got a flexplate bolted to it and a dummy trans with no internals for support so it's going to wind up a bit quicker but it does run good now that it's in the car. should be tuning soon with HPTuners software to get the most out of it.

he said it only a dummy, but why not use a manual as a dummy? wouldn't that make things easier in the end?

the dummy is a bare T56 core, it's just there to support the rear of the motor as it would be in the car. there's no internals or input shaft in it at all. the flexplate was just so the starter had something to spin the motor over with.

Jesus Erin, talk about high compression.. that starter seemed like it wanted to crap out.
