I think after my bday im going to quit. These newports are starting to burn my fucking lungs after 3 years of smoking...if i dont stop now i will prob get lung cancer than die of aids by 25.

I need to quit.

But theres nothing like a newport.

I used to say the same about newports but after coughing up blood a couple of times decided it was time to switch. i never quit because i just never really wanted to. but i went from smoking newports to marlboro menthol lights theyre alot smoother. but also i was smoking 2 packs of newport 100's a day now slowly ive cut my self down to 1 ciggarette a day and half a pack on the weekends when i drink or smoke cause u have to smoke when u smoke lol

i quit 3 weeks ago only smoked camels or marbro. menthol every once in awhile through the week but crazy on the weekends for about 2 years. havent even thought about one yet. :) good luck to all who wants to quit!!

if you smoke reds newports will taste strong of menthol, i would even go so far as to say that the menthols would taste lighter than reds....i havent smoked many reds in my time though

It only takes courage and some balls to quit smoking. I was a smoker for almost 4 years and one day I decided to quit and it has been 11 months since then. I feel ALOT healthier, sleep better, breath better, etc.

I can actually be around smokers and I don't get any craivings instead I stay away cause I can't stand the smoke.

I smoked for 6 years, the ast two years almost a pack a day. I got a bad chest cold and didnt smoke for a few weeks cause it hurt so bad. After I got better I realized that I didnt need them, so I started eating fireballs and jaw brakers like it was my job. After not smoking all week and smoing two pack in 4 hours at the bar on a saturday noght I eventually quit all together. Im also a hypocondriac so evey sore throat or headache is cancer or a tumor so that helped.
