I am not bragging on him beating a Camaro or anything but figured some of you may enjoy a clean pass from a fellow beginner. Yeah of course he is in a Rustang
Enjoy.

Thanks a lot man and if your coming on the 25th to Carolina you can see a little progress. We are finishing his coupe next week and adding a little go go juice to it. Hopefully it will be in the same range as our daughters car which is what he was driving in that video.
It would be good to meet some people off here and have some fun racing without all the drama.

Thanks man he really is a great kid.
The car consists of a stock bottom end 302, 26 inch street radial tires with 16 lbs pressure, C-4 and 3,187lbs with him in the car no bottle or passenger seat when weighed in but on that pass we had a 75 shot running through it. Tagged, insured and driven to school occasionally by our daughter but the bottle stays at home. :D

Could that Ls1 have fucked up that pass any worse? Seems like it missed a gear or something.

Yeah no doubt, I think he missed 2nd and it through him way off for the rest of the run. I am not knocking the car at all so don't take it that way. Later on I saw it run a 10.6 and the car looks slick as hell but that was Austin's very first 1/4 pass and he just happened to be beside him on that one.
If you listen close you can hear them both purging on the line, just an awesome video for his scrap book. :bump:
PS. You gonna be able to make it on the 25th?

Thanks man he just turned 16.
He has worked his azz off getting his car ready and it was leaking a little tranny fluid so his sis let him borrow hers for a few passes. Hopefully on the 25th he will be running his car.
I stepped aside last year and quit racing but I have way more fun watching my wife and kid's make passes than I ever did doing it myself.
PS. The Mrs. is
much faster. ;)
