and 16k for a 2jz swap is fucking ridiculous, the swap alone is about just as much as the car itself....Id rather spend another 2k and find a supra.

yea it would make more power but i doubt a s2000 will put that power down to the ground better than a supra could.....that s2000 must have crazy traction issues and we all know power aint shit without traction.

16K inlcuding the motor is cheap, they CANT be using a getrag for that cheap.

I think our quote was around $13000 an that means THEY SUPPLY the motor/tranny, but we would take care of everything else.

But ours included a GTR rear end. $16000 is a steal if that includes the motor swap WITH the 6 speed.

the 6speed usdm supra clips go for $5000-7000 BY THEMSELVES. We measured the engine bay out already on seymours car, itll fit, with a LOT of custom work.

pretty sick, but they will destroy the rear end SOON.

Seymour has $15000 in his 600whp S2000 turbo build EASILY. an its pretty much maxed out at 650whp. Then we did hus custom rear end. so hes over $15000 by now.

So for $16000 you get the style of a S2000 with the power of a supra, not bad in my book.

what do you use for 2JZ swaps into a 240 - the stock 240 trans? The more I think about a 2JZ swapped 240 the more I want to :leghump:

we use the 1JZ 5 speed tranny. there is no use for a 6 speed tranny in a 240sx, its light enough taht the 5 speed tranny an gearing is better suited for it.

The 6 speed is a BADASS tranny, but they go for $2500-3500 used so they drive the price WAY UP. not worth it
