i know how u feel, but they day care is providing you a spot for your child, u could probably ask for daily rates, but then if the class is full when u show up u get sent home with kid, but since you pay weekly your kid has got a permanent spot.i got twin 2 year olds and i have been in that boat this year a couple of times, it sucks

If it's a girl-you have to watch out for Ran Kizama, but he's easier to keep away, just throw some manga at him.

Shit just spray him in the face with some axe body spary or some perfume...he will pass the fuck out...

Daycare/Childcare facilities fucking suck...... Yeah I said it........ Robbing me motherfucking blind........I didn't studder.........

So my kid has been out 3 of 5 days this week because of an ear infection and strapped throat. Something he caught from one of the sick kids who's parents don't give a shit about others and allowed them to stay in school regardless. Of course I still had to pay for a full weeks care and now I get a call saying they have to shut down because of a water main break :2up: I want a fucking refund, my kid has only been in attendance for 1 day and 2.5hrs yet I've still paid a full week.

I'm also still pissed that eventhough he is in the State funded Pre-K program I still have to pay nearly as much as full daycare for just 4 additional hours a day (pre and aftercare). Class is only from 8am - 2:30pm, anytime before or after you pay. Ain't this a motherbitch..........

:thinking: of all the things I could be doing with that extra cash monthly. Ok, back to work. I need to petition for another cost of living pay increase.

In home child care: Unless it's a close relative in which I have grown up with, this is out of the question. Too many crazies and child predators out there. I know you can only do so much, but I try to avoid my kids from having any behind doors contact with anyone other than my close circle of relatives and friends. I mean once a child's innocence is lost you can't get that shit back. I unfortunately don't have anyone close that doesn't work fulltime so, I come out the pockets.

My son is already doing better, visited during lunch. He's a mucous monster right now which is great that he's finally getting it out of his system. Every sneeze or cough springs a leak.

ChrisDavis: Free week, I know nothing of this? Not to mention the place where my kid goes is a money grubbing pit and I doubt that they have a policy such as this in place. I will be looking into it when I get home though.
