Word on the street was that another extension was in the works, mutha fuck I was sweating, I didnt think I was ever gonna leave this bitch, by the time I come back though, all the IA meets will be over cause all the members of IA will be in their 80s and wont feel like gathering in a parking lot. This has been the longest 15 months EVER!!!!!!! When I get home Im gonna make up for everyday I missed though and a party with all my IA homies is definately in order. Oh yeah, +1 for that retrieval mission line, good shit.

Yes, it hasnt been that bad. It brought me and my friends cloeser together and I have been through alot of shit, both here and at home. The only thing I would change is that I would have spent my money a little more wisely and I wish we hadnt gotten extended. It feels good to serve the country and 20 years down the road I will still have stories and memories from this past 15 months.

Yeah, it's a good deal, I paid off a ton of debt last year, (and bought some toys) this year will be all savings. I'll probably take a few months off after this contract and do a third. Last year I was at Liberty, Falcon and Speicher, they moved me around a lot, which was cool, got to see more than some contractors who just get stuck at one camp. It was definately an experience.

Apparently the PSP is what kept him sane while he was deployed; the family would send movies.

16months is a long ass time man. ive done 2 6 month deployments and those were hell for the wife and i. u guys must have a really strong relationship. theres nothing like coming home and seeing ur significant other standing there waiting for you. dont drop youre pack just yet wait till ur back home and have a beer and a blunt in ur hand before u do that.

Well, now I am back at Speicher. But Last year I bounced around between Falcon, Liberty, and Speicher. Of course it figures that they stuck me back at Speicher again, and the tent I'm in is worse than the one last year. Oh well! Never been to Taji, but I hear that it is a pretty nice camp compared to some.
