Well since today isnt halloween that might be the reason for no candy...

It is a safe alternative for people that live in not so safe areas and still want to take their kids trick or treating.

i know when we lived in knoxville when i was younger everyone went to the mall for halloween w/ the kids... b/c knoxville is a hole in the wall but i'm sure people still do it b/c its lit up and feel safer about the kids.

I trick or treated at the mall once when I was maybe 8 or 9. The mall made a big thing out of it and advertised it as safe and warm so everyone went. I think house to house is way more fun though.

I don't know if its just the idiots here in Smyrna or not, but there are people here that are getting together and putting candy in their car trunks and having their kids go from car to car instead of from house to house. Do they do this anywhere else, or is it just this stupid area?

Oh and I go to Discover Mills regularly. There usually aren't a ton of kids in there. It would be hilarious to see lots of elementary students running around begging for candy. Provided I can escape after I tire of laughing that is.

we took my daughter to M.O.G. last year casue it was warmer and easier to walk around pushing the stroller. but hse wa only like 3 months old so it wasnt like she was going for the candy or anything. but this year she can walk so were probably hitting up some neighborhoods if it doesnt get to cold.
