Current asking price; Alot of people are looking, but no one's taking my prices. Make an offer on this. It will go to the best offer if it's sufficient. Currently looking for around 400$. I'll help transport (at buyer's expense in gas and trailer rental from uhaul). Need to pay bills, badly...I'll try to also get better pictures this week....

I hate doing this, because I would have loved to build this car. My girl hates my hatch, and said she liked the CRx more so I picked it up to build as an LSVTEC street machine. Well, I'm in school and so the project slowed, and my girl decided to date some other dudes, so it's time to let this thing go...

Basics:
1989 Crx Si
Red w/ black interior

What it's got:
All the body pieces are there
Axles
Sunroof
Had manual transmission

Good:
Seems to be straight lines
Clean title
No rust
Excellent project for someone without a wondering mind for a girlfriend
Excellent project for someone who's got the time/money for it

Bad:
Weatherstripping needs replacing
Interior is in FAIR condition, but not great
Driver's side fender has decent sized ding (pictured)
Located up here in Dahlonega, and I don't have a trailer

Sounds like a pretty damn good price for a reliable ride, if you ask me. :goodjob:

Hell, it's only a D15, but when my swap is done, I just might GIVE the buyer my engine from the civic. It's got 270, but runs like a friggin' champ!
Example...it's driven me MORE than reliably 80K miles since rebuild, and the only issues I've had is like alternator, etc...the stuff that doesn't get changed in a rebuild. 5spd tranny will go with it, and it runs well, and the clutch is still reliable. Alternator's got a lifetime warranty, as do the axles. This car has driven me cross-country to the western side once, and up and down the east coast countless times...this past weekend it ran an average of about 90mph and topped out at 110 for a little more than an hour's drive.

So there you have it...a reliable ride for 750, even!

I've also got the parts laying around for a rear disc brake swap (175$) and a Tanabe Medallion Exhaust (175$)

I just want this thing gone!

Mary - I dont' know exactly what he's got going on with the seat belts...they're in sturdy, but either the door panel or th seats or the seat belt or something has been swapped. Either way, the title, and VIN calls it an 89 Si.

EFMan - It's all good man. It wasn't what you were lookin' for. I would expect you to buy what you're not looking for. THat's like walking in walmart buying an Almond Joy candy bar when you don't like coconut...just wouldn't make sense.

500$ or a motor is currently what it's running at cuz I've got three lookers, those are the offers I've gotten, and a fourth that just contacted me this morning, but hasn't really said anything yet.

We'll see what happens. I'm still willing to trade for b-series axles, a b-series clutch, and aftermarket exhaust, and some change...that's all I need now to finish off the project. Or any of the parts, plus change.

LoL, correct. The only catch is that the forward side of the pipe (where it would connect to the cat) is cut (as you can see in the picture) and would need a coupling mounted up there, or you can go to autozone and bolt it down yourself. That's the only bad on this thing.

why not keep the rex for a minute, swap your hatch motor into the rex then sell it once u get the b18 ready?

Well, the hatch was chosen over the CRx because I LOVE my hatch. Alot of miles in it, and it's the first car I've truly owned. I've built it from the ground up, and it gets me everywhere. Plus, you can't beat the "trunkspace". Plus, the hatch is just BARELY less weight than the CRx...and I can haul more people if neccessary.

I don't wanna sell the engine with the CRx. I wanna keep the engine. For one, it's a 1.5L (STD) engine and it would take some wire work to put it in the Si (which had a 1.6), and the d15 is the first engine I built. I plan to keep the engine in the basement, tear it apart and rebuild it again and put it in a hatch that i'll probably buy later down the road, and it'll be a track-only car. Not to mention, it'd have been pointless to insure and get a tag for the Rex for just a few months.

I just feel like my hatch is more worth my time with more sentimental value.

However, I was at the pull-a-part in Norcross yesterday, and someone will be happy with a black Si dash they've got in a 90-91 civic DX out there. Good condition. A crack in the center up by the windshield, but you won't notice it once it's installed. I'll probably be going back for the door panels.
