i have the floorboard cover off my ecu , and when the car is turned off and key is out , the light on it still blinks codes , is it supposed to do that? , also my battery light stays on for a while when my car is off , and i have to keep jumpin it off to get it started , any ideas why it would still be on? ,thanx

thats not good, youve got something keeping your electrical system energized with the key out. what kinda car is it?

gotcha. have you made any modifications to the ignition wiring? i suppose you could possibly have a relay sticking. id start by pulling fuses & relays until the power goes off to the ecu/cluster and try and isolate the problem

i had a friend do the swap , i was mostly at work when he did it , so i am unsure about his wiring , what relays shold i be checkin out the most? also +1 for you for helpin bro!:cheers:

well its hard to say, id just try removing all of them 1 by 1. ive done mpfi conversion several times and it doesnt require modification of any accesory related wiring

hmm i see your avatar says its a Si, it shouldnt have required any wiring modifications for another d16a6

it wasnt an SI tell i did the swap i went from the d15 to the d16
