Um, a 93 GSR motor is a B17A, not a B18C1. You need to confirm which motor it is, because an ITR valve cover will not fit a B17A.

What are you talking about? Let me clairify through the use of BTLFED Notes:
-The author said it was a "93 B18C1 GSR"
-In 1993, the GSR engine was a B17A1
-An ITR Valve Cover will fit a B18C1 GSR but not a B17A1 GSR
-You come from left field with this comment that makes no sense because no one said that.

actually everyones wrong.
B18C1=USDM GSR
B18C or B18C5=ITR
93 GSR= B17A
but to answer the posters question, YES THE VALVE COVER WILL WORK. ALL DOHC VTEC VALVE COVERS ARE INTERCHANGABLE

I'm not wrong, I was using my BTLFED Notes to reiterate on what everyone ELSE was saying.

I am confused but good luck!
i was going to read this post in hopes of understanding what was going on at the last post... but here i sit, thoroughly confused. All I'm reading here is a bunch of "I KNOW HONDAS BETTER THAN YOU DO" crap.
I like the BTLFD notes, they make more sense than anything else on this page.

Iam not saying Iknow hondas better ,BUT
some one said b18C b18c5= itr
there were actually JDM gsrs that had a B18C from 93 up so It could be a 93 JDM SIR-Vtec motor but not a 93 Usdm B18c1 (didnt exist)
the ITR, CTR, and GSR from 94 up were all stamped p-72 and all the heads and valve covers will interchange as said before
The engines in japan were build a year before they were put in the car.
Anyone with a stock 94 GSR too go look at the head stamp it will prolly say 93
