For some reason my thread for a charity car show event was deleted. I had no idea where it went. So I looked around and to no avail decided to email the admin about the problem...

Here is the response I got...

This is a load of crap... I didn't know IA needed this kind of exposure to cancel out all other shows posted on the same day as theirs. Pussies...especially because this was a charity event for a church...

Are you just desperate for attendees? Cause I could care less how many people decided to show up at your show over mine. Everyone needs to have their own opinion about what show they want to attend...but apparently IA is so biased they can't allow any other shows on the same day as theres...

This was a wasteful post. This is Import Atlanta. They are having a show. They want exposure for there show only on that day. End of story. I know it hurt your feelings, so move your show to the next week and they will let you start plenty of threads about your show.

1) ITS NOT VERY SMART TO PROMOTE EVENTS THE SAME DAY AS YOUR OWN; WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW MCDONALDS ADVERTISING THE WHOPPER? OK

2) EXPOSURE... YA I DIDN'T KNOW WE NEEDED EXPOSURE ON OUR OWN SITE... OH YA ITS OUR SITE WHERE THE FUCK ELSE WOULD BE GAIN EXPOSURE. HOW ABOUT THIS I'LL SEND SOMEONE TO YOUR VENUE TO STAND OUTSIDE THE PLACE AND HAND OUT FLYERS + FREE PASSES FOR MY EVENT. HOW IS THAT FOR EXPOSURE?

3) I DONT' CARE IF YOUR EVENT WAS FOR A CHURCH... DO WE GET A FREE PASS TO HEAVEN IF WE GO TO YOUR EVENT? COM'ON I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF EVENT IT WAS.

4) DESPERATE..? NOPE ACTUALLY OUR EVENT HAS BEEN PAID FOR A WHILE AGO, ALL WE GOTTA DO IS SHOW UP.

5) YES YOUR RIGHT EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR OWN OPINION ABOUT WHAT SHOW TO ATTEND... HAVE FUN EMAILING EVERYONE B/C YOUR EVENT WON'T BE POSTED UP ON HERE.
