Speed Traps in Georgia

i wasn't really sure where to post this but it's an early ChristmaHannuKwanzzkah present from me to all of you. I found this site off the Import North Carolina (http://www.importsnc.com) site since i'm living there now. It's speed trap listings for every city in Georgia.... i was at the waffle house infront of mall of GA the other night eatin around midnight, and theres a small raised cement spot infront of the redlight when you go to pullout. so this cop pulls in, drives over and onto the cement rise, cuts lights and waits. not even 5 seconds and blue lights are on and hes off. i watch him do this 3-4 times back to back over the course of my meal! im not sure how often they use that spot, but its hard to spot the cop car if youre cruisin by at night. the speed limit through there is like 45 so be careful ;)

I lived in gwinnett... I had the blue LAncer (usually missing a front bumper cause i have no luck at all) also had the fiberglassed dash, doorpanels. I totaled it in july though. I'm living in charlotte right now going to school. I gradfuate on 4/20 though so i'll be back in the atl soon. Oh yeah i got a mitsu mighty max now. I got the 4g63t motor. Now all i need is the Starion or conquest tranny and i'll be boosting my mini truck. If i cant find the tranny soon i'm just going to end up using the head, but we'll see what happens.

good post, but not sure if cops setup speed traps in same location over and over since ppl will know. Most of us know the areas around us or familiar with where it's safe and unsafe to speed. My best bet would be buy a good radar dectector or laser jammer or both and they will pay for themself pretty quick. If you don't have any... At day time, keep your eyes sharp (front and back view) and at night time monitor traffic ahead of you...if you see brakes lights going off a good distance ahead of you...tells you something, be carefull around blind turns, and if you are in a rush...speed in right lane because they go from fast to slow lane (left to right). Most importantly...stay with the flow of traffic day or night... go in and out of traffic fast and furious style...def a ticket. If you are alone on the road at day or night....just stay within 15mph of speed limit.
